I do not generalize.Everyone has there reason but this is what I experienced..........When I gave up all hope I went in my room and said Jesus forgive my sins .I am a sinner.I believe You died on the cross for my sins.Come into my heart Jesus. And Jesus put peace and love in my heart and the knowledge that when I leave earth I will live for all eternity with Him

You hit the nail on the top on a similar time as you stated "I purely do no longer understand" - that's what an atheist feels on a similar time as a likely customary guy or lady starts quoting a e-e book that became as quickly as written in the iron age and announcing now no longer maximum expensive that that is effectual at modern, although that the comprehensive ingredient it says is positively precise and the comprehensive ingredient is created via a sentient appropriate being whom we can would desire to love and worship. each little thing else aside, how are you waiting to love a guy or woman who you have in no way had any verbal exchange with? and that i mean top, 2 approach clever verbal exchange now no longer the mystic kind you get in faith. because of the fact it is going in the direction of all rational, logical thought atheists have faith that those human beings will would desire to be placed appropriate. oftentimes this maximum expensive comes after some pious religious nut has tried to remodel the atheist. We maximum expensive oftentimes try this to get our very own returned, oftentimes we don't supply a crap what others sense as long as they save it to themselves.

oh christ, we are not looking for your help finding religion. We are trying to educate some of the people who stand a chance of learning how to think rather than follow some babbling preacher up on a pulpit.
I am a better damn person than most of you who profess to have religion. I don't gamble, drink heavily, do drugs, play around while in a relationship, lie, cheat or steal. As an atheist, I must look myself in the mirror every night before bed and ask myself if I were a good person today. If not, I must try harder tomorrow. I don't have anybody blessing me, forgiving me, or trying to show me the way. I know what's right and wrong and I do my best as a mature gay woman to be the best person I can be. Most of you church goers can't say the same thing so shut up and get of of my face.

Perhaps they know
what is really going on
and
only want to educate the rest
of the people out here.
I do not believe
that it is a cry for help,
I think they know themselves
better than you may think,
after all,
they live in their body...Not you.
By the way,
I'm not an atheist, just a witch.
POOF,
now you have a wart...
And you are going to be so
surprised when you discover
where it is...

I just flew in here to make your night, tee-hee.

I never said I don't care......I'm fascinated by religion, I just choose not to believe in a god. I'm here because I want to know why you believe what you do.

Some atheists are interested in religion - some are not. There are a lot of questions directed at atheists in R&S and so they will receive responses from atheists.

If theists are so sure about their version of god's existence, why do they need to ask so many questions in R&S?

Hon, it's a condition of the heart. Did Christ come to heal the healthy ones? That just doesn't make sense. Make His concerns your concerns, and all will be right in the world.

I don't party at all actually- what a truly, truly moronic generalisation. Anyway, this is the Society and Culture section, and even the Religion sub-section is not Christian, in case you believed your religion to be the only one in the world.

So all atheists are searching for God, right? Well I guess that's true. I'm certainly open to evidence supporting God.
