1) Would you rather go to hell than not exist at all?

Ones preference doesnt matter. There either is a hell (lake of fire), or there isnt. Since hell would be a spiritual realm, I would be very disturbed to find physical evidence of it in this universe. By the way, "spiritual" does NOT mean "less real".
We think of the spiritual realm as a "mist" or a "fog" (unsubstancial), when in all probability it is our physical realm that is "unsubstancial" in comparison with the absolute rock bottom of the spiritual world.
Interesting, how all of the sceptics here state catagorically that there IS no hell. With absolutely NO evidence for such a statement. Sounds like blind faith to me.

2) Can God be an atheist?

A non-question on the order of "what shape is yellow?".
God can be neither an atheist or a believer. He simply IS. He is too ABSOLUTE REALITY to be anything but.

3) Does it require more faith to be an atheist?

Of course. The "evidence" for God permeats everything. It is objective and subjective. On the objective side, there is simply too much of it to go into here. (I know. I spent 2 years studying it when I WAS an atheist). The reason that atheists/sceptics cannot see it, is because God has decreed that they CANNOT unless they are WILLING to submit and bow the knee to His Son FIRST.
Once a heart is willing to do this, THEN God opens their eyes spiritually to see what is right in front of their face.

(" I speak to them in parables so that they may NOT see and understand "---Jesus Christ)

Subjectivly, one has all the "evidence" one needs when one actually BECOMES a child of God by being born again. God sends His Spirit to dwell within that person "to bear witness with our spirit".

Of COURSE, this is all gobbelty-goook to the unbeliever. God said it would be.

("The Cross is FOOLISHNESS to them that are perishing")

In light of this, what we (the christians) are to do is simply preach the Gospel.

God will see to the results.

Sure God can be an Athiest. I would say that the creative power in the Universe doesn't believe itself to be some old guy burning bushes and frightening the natives so they praise it.

I wouldn't say it requires more faith to be an Athiest - I would say it takes more courage though.

Peace!

I'd rather not exist at all. I think nothingness is preferable to suffering without hope.

If God is the one and they're no other Gods supervising him, I guess he'd have to be an atheist, unless of course he can just make up Gods like we do.

No faith is required for atheism. In fact, rejecting faith as a reliable way to seek truth seems to be an important part of it for many people.

These are not impossible to answer.
Hell does not exist so the first question is mute.
The biblical god is not atheist. The first commandment clearly states "Thou shalt have no other gods BEFORE me".
This shows that god believes n the existence of other gods.
Finally,no it doesn't require faith to be an atheist, just logic and the fact that there is no evidence to show the existence of a god

hell only exists in some people's minds, so therefore i do not need to make a choice with this question

there is no proof either way that god exists yet, so it is too soon to decide on whether he can be atheist or not. though if he does exist, he'd be rather hypocritical if he was an atheist!

atheists have faith in themselves rather than hypothetical deities. unless one doubts ones own existence, it does not take much faith to know you exist.

blessed be

Those are some pretty stupid questions. Being an atheist is not much about faith. It's just about not believing in those notions of hell, heaven, gods, devils, etc. When we die we rot while maggots devour our tissue, or if cremated, we're little ashes and that's about it.
You don't have to agree to these ideas, but you sure can respect that this is how some people live.

It doesn't take faith to be an atheist-- it takes rational thought. hell I knew when I was 8 years old that all those bible stories made no sense at all. How adults don't question it boggles my mind.

Since I don't 'believe' in hell, it doesn't frighten me. If I didn't exist, I wouldn't have to worry about anything.

Since god is a non entity, it can't be anything.

1 Not exist

2 If God exists, he can be anything he wants. Of course, if he stopped believing in himself, I guess he wouldn't be running the world so it would fall apart, assuming you believe he still runs everything.

3. If you don't believe in God, atheism is a breeze!

those aren't impossible questions; those are philosophical questions.

1) not exist. hell is the worst place to be, where there will be weeping, and gnashing of teeth.
2) no. he does not have a religion, because the belief in him is Christianity.
3) nope. athiests just don't want to face up to reality that there IS a God who created the whole universe. they just don't want to have someone to be accountable to for all their bad deeds.
