I got a panasonic cordless phone in US and brought to India , when I look at the dialled numbers I get the dialled number in US phone number format 3 - 3 - 4 digits. In india there is no such number format. Is there any way I can tune the set so that the number is not shown in the US number format. Panasonic set model number is KX-TG6074B.

May be I should have added this detail before. I have checked this up in the manual ..there is no option provided in the manual. I just wanted to check if this needs some kind of crack to be done on phone. I understand this must be some kind of software programming.

Check the manual that came with the phone or the maker's web site. I suspect it is something that can be programmed to show the format in your country. Most phones have this sort of ability.
