What makes you surprised over this? Is it because you see women having less equal opportunities in other areas? Although I live in Egypt, I am kinda scared of Saudi, because of the lack of rights of women there. Do you know they aren't allowed to drive a car? Or, ride a bike even. I am American and live in Egypt, and have lived in other Middle Eastern countries. I have not converted to Islam, but study it, and am married to a Muslim. I can't imagine going to Hajj, because i feel a little intimidated with Saudi laws. Maybe I will doing something by accident, (by my cultural nature) like ask a man directions on the street and go to jail, or be publically repremanded. (Scared here)

Too bad all other humans are forbidden from entering the city for any reason. That seems a bit like the Dark Age mentality that led to crusades and inquisitions.

No, nothing about Islam is wonderful. It is a belief structure that does not allow free thinking, therefore it is anti-human. Whenever someone tells you it is cool to blow up another human for some god, think about it. Is that a life-affirming event..........??

I don't see any Muslims talking about the quotes from the Koran on this valuable subject... since it is so full of female subjugation...Ask the 72 virgins waiting for you in heaven if they want your sexual advances?
