Agree.

I totally disagree with you kwxilvr! I know this because I lived the majority of my life this way. It has gotten me through all the harsh times my life has known. It will always be here for me whenever I am need. My Faith this way is what has kept God close to me in soul, mind, and spirit. Is also the reason why my Faith in God is so strong. It is the hardest discipline I had to learn how to do because I made many sacrifices in my life from my ownself. With this, I SHOWED God how much I love Him. I am still doing it in this day. I know I will always be this way because over the years it has became my way with the Lord and is the person I am meant to be. I wouldn't have my life any other way. The struggles I had to face being this way isn't one bit easy, and I cried a lot living this way because it is easy to get hurt in soul, mind, and heart. There was never nothing I could do about the trials, and tribualtions because VENGENCE belongs to the Lord. So out of just this instance, I learned how to forgive, forget, turn the other cheek, and patience from having to wait for time to take away my sorrow. With the Image of God being by my side through these hellish times. All of what I learned from living my life this for almost all my life since I was young child means more to me than life itself. The knowledge that I have come to know to this point in my life came from this "religious Faith" I lived. This walk of life that I put all my soul, mind, and heart into is the foundation for my Faith in God. This foundation that I made for my being this way is one that will never be broken, tainted, or shaken because I did it with God. The Rock. Religious Faith is the way Jesus Christ taught in His teachings and are specifically meant for while we pass through life here on earth. Religious Faith is what I did my whole life from the first time I learned how to read, I started reading the gospals and I welcomed to live my life this way with all that I knew of me in my young years, was something I agreed to do.

I am sure you disagree to the question because you don't understand how it works. You don't have an inkling of what Religious Faith is when it comes to Christianity.

No. I disagree.

Some people think that god wants you to believe in Mohammed or Joe Smith. Other people think you should instead have faith in aliens from outer space or a pantheon of gods...

Faith means belief without evidence. Without evidence, you can believe ANYTHING. You can believe in unicorns, in flying spaghetti monsters, or anything else you wish to. This can foster such things as the extremism that led to 9/11.

So, NO. Faith is not a good thing.

Religious faith is not a good thing for so many reasons. For example, how can you be so absolutely certain that your faith is superior to anyone else's, especially if they feel just as certain about their faith?

Far better to learn how to think than merely believe.

People can draw hope and meaning from their religious faith, but when these faith based beliefs are put on public display they seem very irrational and superstitious.

a million) we don't attack, we chosen to defend our top to no longer have faith. We did no longer start up the Inquisition or the Salem witch trials. 2) The bible is a e book of religion written via guy, which "proves" no longer something. The archaeological information you advise proves in uncomplicated terms that faith existed, no longer God himself. 3) the undeniable fact that i've got not got this sense is synonymous with the undeniable fact that i've got not got faith. "I would desire to do my area with the intention to have faith"? that is contradictory. I shouldn't would desire to artwork at believing something - I the two have faith or i do no longer.

For growth - do self help, coaching, counselling. Religion is for those who have difficulty with reality.
