So, I want to make my own reverse camera in my car. I figured the cheapest way to do it is to chop my cheap digi cam in half and stretch it across my car, with the screen in my dash and the lens in my bumber.

Any kinda help will be nice, If you've done this before or know of any links on use full info, please let me know.

Also I don't want to shock myself on the flash. how can I discharge it?

1) get a nanny camera, wireless. Wire it so that it's powered by the rear backup lights (i.e. it powers on when the car is shifted into reverse.

2) put the wireless receiver with a small screen in your dash.

Or just go to wal-mart and spend $88.
