The small flies are probably midges belonging to the family Ceratopogonidae. They are variously called biting midges, punkies or no-see-ums, depending where you live. If they do not bite they do not belong to this group but to another family of midges. They live in the water or the mud along rivers and lakes and can be avoided by moving away from the water. It is doubtful to eliminate them but you may be able to reduce the amount around the house by keeping puddles and mud from forming.

Check site "whats that bug.com". You will need a magnifying glass for the midge. But maybe the spider is larger.

If they are red and very tiny those are common red spider mites. They are about a half a millimeter across. If they weren't bright red in color you'd never see them. The other ones that fly could be gnats or fruit flies. Fruit flies can be extremely small in some species about the size of gnats. You might try removing all standing water possibly like from old tires in swing sets and the like. Try to clean up and eliminate decomposition which attracts them.
