Documenting history was very popular with the Romans. Their Tax collectors were pretty keen on it too. Ancient documents supported many of the miracles and modern scholars (I don't mean theologians) have found some still exist. The New Testiment has been challanged repeatedly, in big court cases during the last 2,000 years and there was always evidence to prove it was true and none to prove it was false. I would like to see how Roman Tax collectors re-entered the names of people risen form the dead into their tax collection books. Did they charge back-taxes? :)
Honestly, if a person accepts Jesus as God's divine son and accepts His plan of salvation and puts Him on the throne of their life, Jesus becomes very real the them in the "here and now". More real than what we're doing here. Every day Christians ask for miracles and God makes them happen for them. I've told total strangers all about themselves. I've seen friends and acquaintances healed when we have prayed for them. I've even heard of a whole church walking on water when they were trapped by a flood during the monsoon rains.
Besides, why would anyone think Jesus' best friends would lie about him by saying "He said that He was the only begotten Son of God"? Best friends don't say that unless it's true. And those men ate at the same table with His mom, they knew her well and wrote down what she said about His conception & birth, so why would anyone think that they would tone down that bit of history? Why would Muhammad, born hundreds of years later, in 570, claim to know more details about the event than the men who spoke with His mother on a daily basis? It's just not logical that His deciples/friends would lie.
Yes, I know Jesus personally and He is the Son of God. No belief, no guess work, it is just a fact. And I do value His choices for me above my own because He can see my future clearer than I can.

Yes, I highly recommend you read the book "The Case for Christ" by Lee Stroebel or "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. They were both atheists who set out to disprove Christianity and became Christians.
Jesus did claim to be God, that was the reason He was crucified. So, He was either a liar (knew He wasn't but said it), or He was a lunatic (thought He was and wasn't), or He is Lord. What is not possible is that He was just a good teacher. Because a good teacher or prophet cannot also be a lunatic or a liar!

Yes! If you want an easy read "A Case For Christ" by a lawyer who wasn't sure what to believe, decided to research Christ like a lawyer. There are so many things in that book that I never thought about before and is very easy to follow the evidence.

God doesn't give every person the option to "pick and choose
" what to believe.
The bible is how a person learns about Jesus (and God).
Read:
Romans (10)
Acts 2:21
Isaiah 9:6
Matt 25
Rev 7:9-17,18-22

Yes, I think it's POSSIBLE there was a guy called Jesus that was just a guy with great publicity skills. As for being the Son of God, God would have to exist for that to happen. Did you ever hear about Bob, the guy who walked on air and granted wishes to chickens? No...because his publicists weren't nearly as hard-working.

i believe in Jesus.
i believe him as messenger or prophet but not the son of the God.
i believe he was normal human being but created without father as Adam.
The God make him do miracles to make people believe that he is the messenger of the God ,so ,he become famous and people believed him.

I'm with you guy. If someone said they were the son of god now they would be thrown in the nut house. 2000 years ago, they'd write a book about you.

Yes, I believe in Jesus.
A few ancient historians recorded documents about him performing miracles, although I don't know their names.
I'm like you though...still trying to figure out if he is God's divine son.
