There is no need for branches of atheism. It means 'disbelief in gods'. That's all. Anything else falls under some other category.

I would add (to make you list more balanced):
7) Really feel sorry for those deluded Christians Atheist
8) Want to be left alone Atheist
9) Agnostics
10) Anti religious Atheists
I think most Ateheists fit into several categories - for example, you can be scuientific and sarcastic and believe all Christians are evil.
I am not exactly an atheist, more of an agnostic and anti-religion
b.t.w. two final points. First thanks for spelling atheists properly!!! Second, honestly most atheists posts here don't express Chrisitians as evil, just gullible or perhaps not possessing free thinking capabilities.

Only issue with that is that many/most fit more then one of those...
I think most of us are 1 & 2, some are 3, 5, or 6...and none of us are 4 as that wouldn't be an atheist.
P.S. We don't need branches, we accept individual personalities and opinions...we don't get made at a difference of a view and break off to form a new denomination like religion does.

The Apatheists ( apathy + atheist), the "who-gives-a-crap" atheist who doesn't even think about it. Too busy being a real human being to even give such an irrelevant topic a thought.
Like one person above me, I'm an anti-religion agnostic with sceintific tendencies. I believe in reason, science and logic, not fuzzy thinking and magical kingdoms.

No we are not confused like religions. Most religions cannot agree, so they have branches. We are not a religion, we just do no believe in a God of any kind .
