Things like that don't usually translate directly into other languages. I don't believe there is a French word for "unthinking," but I may be wrong. ("Impensable" means "unthinkable," which is entirely different.)
It would be "La majorité ____"
Were it up to me, I would choose to say something like thoughtless, unintelligent, or unwise. I think that would be "La majorité sans pensée."
