“A picture is worth a thousand words” isn’t a proverb for nothing. His judgment will most definitely FEEL like a sword to those the word applies. I hope you don’t have to worry about dodging. Receive His gift while you still can & be blessed.

kinda, the sword is usually in reference to the Spirit of God , not an actual sword . The sword coming out of His mouth referring to what He has to say in judgment . But he isn't going to kill you, He's going to send ya .. John 3:16
well after reading some of these other ones they are right , it's His word ..

Why why not? God can kill who he please and save who he please. So when he speaks of this I feel like in that verse the Lord is speaking of how powerfull his Word is. Either we believe or we will don't by the sword we will be forced to finally know who Jesus is and worship him as well. Now we wonder and I wonder also. Does God come to kill us with his tongue. I do think this time is upon us right now for God is a good. God But also God is bringing his sheep home and sorting out the fine wine from the soured wine. We have to watch never to mock God for we seen what happened to Farah.And yes we will all doe someday. God did not come to steal, kill and destroy like satan has done, But, God has come to give life abuntley. God Bless you and Have a good night.

The two edged sword is a prophetic way of saying the "Word of God". We shall be judged by our works according to the Word of God. The Word of God makes us ACCOUNTABLE, and if we repent and keep the commandments of God it shall be well with us, if not then we will shrink away in endless shame and guilt.
Rev. 20: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The sword coming of out Jesus mouth is symbolic of His word, which is sharp like a two-edged sword.
With a single spoken word, He will decimate you.
Just as the universe was spoken into being with one word of God, so He can destroy you with a word.

God has created a mind for the human beings who will kill themselves by pollution, global warming,by religious wars, polluting the water, drinking, smoking, drugging, etc.
We don't need god with a sword coming out of his mouth.

if this what will happen , it is considered to be an easy punishment.
As there is no Death there.. nothing will make you die.
If you enter the Hell , you will stay forever .
If you entered paradise , you will stay for ever.
when skin melts from fire , new skin appear to be melted again and so on.(whatever we imagined , we will not imagine the difficulty of this day)
in the other side ,we can't describe the heaven.

the sword in that book of the bible, i think you cracked open ur dusty bible to revelation means word
