It makes me feel small... In that it makes me feel very special that He created this planet... That He created me... I don't think I ever have felt so small, but when I looked up into the heavens... I also think how awesome it is that God chose where He wanted the stars... Where He wanted the moon... How he placed us in just the right spot from the sun... Yeah I know I'm weird, but when I'm really upset I look up into the sky I feel my Creator... My problems always feel so different.

Don't have to go out, I already know it's a feeling of awe over a vast universe, so large it's beyond our comprehension. But what I don't feel is it having anything to do with a deity if that's what you're getting at.

P.S. I forgot the fact that it makes it even more amazing that our ancient ancestors looked up and at the same exact stars. (Except, they could see more then us without the pollution in the air and of lights.)

Taking this time to let my dogs out I went outside and looked up and saw the sky. Nice and blue with hardly any clouds. Made me thank God that I am alive to see that.

Q?
Hey pumpkin have you ever been to a place where you can actually SEE stars ?
The places that show up as big black spots on a picture of America that was shot at night using an infra-red camera.
If you haven't then you owe it to yourself to go to such places and then look at the night sky.

Isaiah 40:26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
