My sister-in-law in TX makes a 7-Up pound cake that's yellow from the butter and egg yolks. The recipe is from a cook book entitled "Wild about Texas".

Your cake was probably green due to added food coloring. Maybe around St. Patrick's Day or Christmas?

I'm not taking the time to type out the recipe, because I don't think you were referring to a pound cake. E-mail me if you want that recipe.
