Hi all. I need to know what is the cheapest thing I can possibly eat thats healthy for me that I can eat everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner. Just 1 or 2 food products from meat and carb sections of the food pyramid. for 1 year all Im gonna do is eat that item everyday only and drink water and suck on limes so i dont die of fruit neglect. Im doing this to save money not be thin. So thanks ahead of time!

Beans and rice(brown) is probably gonna be the cheapest(but still healthy) thing you can buy.

A good idea, is to get those little meat packets that sell for like 30 cents(turkey is the healthiest), get letuce, whole grain whole wheat bread, some honey mustered(very low in cals and very good) and parmasean cheese. This little mix will last a whle, and is VERY healthy. Its good taosted, and a side of sliced apples w/natural Peanut butter, and your set!

old fashioned oatmeal, eggs, whole wheat bread, brown and wild rice, whole wheat pasta, frozen chicken in bulk, seasonal fruit and veggies, peanuts
dont eat processed meats - they are far from healthy and contain a lot of other unhealthy stuff
