Might seem like a strange question but there's a lot of "us vs. them" around here (I'm as much to blame as anyone) and I thought it might be nice to do something a little different. So let's all list one thing we like about a self-proclaimed atheist (or several of them) who we've met, either here or somewhere else.
I'll go first. I used to work with a couple of people who were atheists and they were always very nice to me, very welcoming, and would always be there to help whenever I or anyone else needed it. They would also generously share whatever they had - mostly food lol. Those were good times and I really miss those guys.

Oops I guess that's kind of more than one thing.

I would say that in general, atheists seem more able to laugh about things than Christians --- maybe especially more able to laugh at themselves which can only be a good thing.
Secondly, I would say that atheists, at least online, seem to be better at spelling and grammar.
I've had quite a few lovely friends who are atheists. They have been funny and smart. I don't think I've ever met an atheist who is lacking in the brains department. Of course, we know that the Lord chose the foolish things of the earth to confound the 'wise'. Still, that doesn't mean I don't love hanging out with a smarty. :)

Honestly, there's no one thing I like about Atheists, just as there's not one thing I like about Christians. I'm friends with several Christians, several Atheists, several Muslims, and some Hindu's. Religion (or lack there of) is a very small part of what makes up a person. Some Atheists are nice, others are mean. The same is true of Christians. It's the individual that determines whether or not I like them, not their beliefs on one issue.

i used to work with several self proclaimed and closet atheists although the closet cases were more likely agnostics.
at any rate we found ourselves in the most harrowing of circumstance in the middle of a war.now its not that we didn't realize that we had contracted to enter a war zone its just that most of us didn't understand the ramifications of our actions.
my closest friend and devout atheist was trigg,he pummeled my arguments for a higher power and couldn't hide his disdain for my constant references to my deities .this being said he was the most honest and genuine person i have ever known(except my long suffering wife)when the s#$t got deep he was the one i could count on for a straight scoop on what was up. and that is the thing about my atheist/agnostic friends despite much eye rolling at my prayer fullness i knew i could count on them for a straight answer when i needed one.
as a teenager i read the complete works of ayn rand ,and to this day i base most of my life decisions on the rule of logic and of objectivism .
i suppose that's why i still consider myself a recovering catholic
sorry so long ,i did't know i had that much to say.
peace ;

All people are a wonder
Whatever the mind thinks is an illusion anyway.
There is one truth
And one day we will all know, we will have the answers, no question.
And then we will all laugh so much
To know that we are all a little wrong
If any of us really knew exactly the truth of all
We would not be here

did not like the object. i got here across it biased. It portrayed Christians as useful people being smeared unfairly because of the West boro church, and then portrayed atheists somewhat stereotypically (as all being some form of technology, overly cynical geeks). needless to say written via a apologist form christian. all of us is a few distance too actual inspired imo.

This is a really nice question.
I take back all the mean things I've said about you (not the debating points on arguments, just the extra stuff).
Sorry about that.

I like the fact that Atheists look for proof in all things. This is not exclusive to Atheists, but it is a common goal of Atheists it would seem.

Thanks... I'm an atheist and I could say the same for some of the religious on here. Its nice to run into one who is tolerant of your beliefs. My best friend is a fundamentalist Christian, and we get along fine, regardless of our differences. I like people who act that way.

Well since Atheists like to be individuals...I can't speak for all of them...
but I have a few favorite atheists on here. I like an Atheist who says "who cares what people believe? to each their own" and not one who goes around posting the SAME crap over and over about how God isn't real.
