yo! i have some images from my sister that I need to distribute, via printing and email, yet when I click on the 'scan and save' nothing happens?

Has your scanner ever worked? It might be an installation problem. I found with HP scanners if you attach the USB cable before installing the software they just won't work. The only solution is to use Add/Remove programs to uninstall the scanner drivers, disconnect the USB cable from the computer, restart the computer, then run the driver installation again, only attaching the cable when the software tells you to.

Didn't you miss a step here?
Usually, you have to indicate if you want the scanned item to be an image, document, B&W, color, etc.
After the image is scanned - we are usually asked if we want to print, save, or whatever.
Check your User's Guide.
