There are times I would love to, but I have three children with him and we did a lot of things together, I would hate to lose those memories. He is my ex for a reason, but he was also my husband for a few years for a reason. I don't exactly like him all that much (not at all actually) but I would lose too many good memories if I erased all memory of him.

It would be nice if EXs were no longer on the planet, however, these relationships are part of lifes lessons, erasing it may cause you to repeat the same mistake with another person just like your EX. They can be put out of your mind and that is good enough.

No. Every moment is a gift, even if it contains memories that I struggle with.
To make a void of my memories would be to erase part of my life.
Death will take care of that. For now, I want everything that was ever given to me, good and bad, in my mind.

Yes erasing the pain would be easy and numbing. However I'd have to erase the happy memories.
To lose one's emotions is worse. It leaves you cold and unable to heal. Unable to open your heart again, when you are ready.
To have the heart bleed it normal. For it will scar over, heal, and eventually the wound will disappear.

no. cos there must be somethings that you learnt from the past relationships. if it is a bad relationship, you learnt from it. you wouldn't want to make the same mistake over and over again. and only when you learnt from the bad, then you learnt to treasure the present. if it is a good piece of memory, why remove it. it is just a beautiful chapter in life. no one wants to live in a life with no good or bad memories. i will still keep mine.:)

No!!! i had 3 wonderful children with my ex-husband so i dont regret that.....but his B.S i would like to erase some of that crap.....
i am happily remarried now though sooooo its all good!!!

yes and no. yes because im not over him and he caused me a lot of pain. no because if i never went out with him i wouldnt really know what love is, and he is the only guy that truley gave me the butterflies in stomach feeling. it was just amazing being his girl and being with him.
