"bgirl9488" i have recently watched a video in sociology about paradigms. IT was amazing. At the begining the guy flashed cards and asked what was different about them, no one could tell that the colors of the cards were backwards because our minds were conditioned that a deck was supposed to look a certain way. Then he went on to tell about swiss watch makers and how a guy developed a digital watch. The swiss thought is was stupid so when the had some world watch get together there, they didnt even bother to patent it. So the japanese saw it and took the idea. Then the swiss were no longer the number one watch maker in the world the jap.s were. so, do religious people just have the mental blocks, and what not that will not let them see, acknowledge, discover, find, realize, or know different ideas.

If you want to be taken seriously when throwing around terms such as paradigm paralysis, it would behoove you to learn how to spell atheists correctly.

No it's not straightforward, so it's not surprising that many people (of varied stances) decline to play this game at all.

There's a benefit and a price for thinking, questioning.
It was so much simpler when I KNEW the cavalry were the good guys and the indians (sic) were the bad guys.

Yes, religious people refuse to see things differently.
