Dubya actually went to Harvard. He didn't set the academic world on fire, but he did go to college. The days of Abraham Lincoln-type education are gone. Anyway, much of the money that would be saved is local money. I'd be rather suprised to hear that your school district invaded Korea or Iran. Maybe you could do it secretly as some part of a student-exchange program.

I would hardly call Grade 12 educational. But it is even more ignorant to think invading yet another country is the smart thing to do. George W has to steal his elections and he has not learned a thing since.

Why don't we eliminate the questions from yahoo answers that are kind of pointless and are never going to happen? I'm not trying to be mean or nething, but do you seriously think that the United States government would ever advocate such a change? I think not, because then colleges would have to change the entire admissions process, and GED's would have different requirements, and such. Also, there are 12 years of school (13 if you count kindergarten) for a reason. Just let it be.

We need education last thing we need are more Bushes walking around. Yeah He is president but look at the Marvelous job he has done expensive war, no health insurance, poor economy, poor diplomacy, not to mention countless lies and lives destroyed. It would be so much better if for future references it would be nice If we had a president who actually could lead our country.

i totally agree, and when your born with money, pretty much the worldis your oyster. for everyone esle,we have to go to school for 13 years, then go to a higher education for 4 to 6 years.while this is happening, korea and iran are going crazy with trying to blow things up to get their way. we should eliminate the 12th grade and invade korea and iran(more likely we should bomb them and make it easier on ourselves).

if we would stop school at grade 6, we could invade the entire world. No school at all and we could control the universe. To infinity...and beyond!!!

LOL True that. It is fairly clear, population grew too much lately, and less job posts are available. And having Pres. Bush as America's representative is just embarassing. He can't tell from left or right, and doesn't even know what country we're in war with. Iraq was a retarded excuse so he'd be president longer.

Look at all the lives he's ended. All the families he tore apart. Bush is evil I tell you!
