Btw I respect all other religions and beliefs. I believe that Christ died for my sins on the cross, and I feel very connected to God when I pray, but if anything I feel least spiritual in a church service setting. Is there a part of the bible that talks about this?

I should have been clear that I do take being connected to other Christians just as seriously. My mother and I spend alot of time praying together, I pray with my friends often, as well as discuss the bible with Christians and non-Christians alike, I guess I could say I feel like the world is church for me, but everyone is shifting away from what I asked for, if anyone knows a bible passage that conveys such beliefs, so far I like the first answer on here by the girl wearing a hat

The Bible has something different to say:

Hebrews 10:24 "Let us consider how we can stir up one another to love. Let us help one another to do good works. 25 Let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us cheer each other up with words of hope. Let us do it all the more as you see the day coming when Christ will return." (NIrV)

There is Biblically no such thing as "going to church." "Church" in the New Testament NEVER refers to a building, but the "body" of Christ. Ephesians 1:23 "The church is Christ’s body. It is filled by Christ. He fills everything in every way." As I cited from Hebrews 10, Christians are commanded and expected to assemble and "fellowship."

Fellowship is translated from a Greek word which preachers often mention, but which very few seem to understand very well. Koinonia is primarily about partnership and sharing. Here is a short dictionary entry for it:

fellowship, the close association between persons, emphasizing what is common between them; by extension: participation, sharing, contribution, gift, the outcome of such close relationships (Greek G/K Definitions, Copyright © 2002 by Zondervan.)

As the authors here indicate, the focus in the New Testament is often not on the sharing itself, but the OUTCOME or result of that sharing. In this case, that result is GROWTH, BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY. The Christian who abandons the assembly not only stifles their own growth, but also that of other Christians and ultimately the church itself because of their absence.

I am glad that you have claimed the essentials of the Gospel. I am just thinking of the passage that says that we should not neglect meeting together. I am thinking of the ways in which the Bible shows us Christians to be interdependent, which would require spending time together. There should be a church that is in line with how you see theology.
In any case, stay close to God and be faithful.

That's a tough one, bro. Maybe you need to find a church where you feel that the word is being preached accurately or maybe the Lord may want you to study away from church.

It's really hard to say but, I do know this much; We Christians need to be together often and fellowship with one another as it gives us strength and helps us to resist being conformed to this world.

I recommend that you prey to the Lord for knowledge and understanding.

You can get through this. I believe in you and so does the Lord.

No. The Bible does not give license for not supporting the church.

So what are you looking for . . . a Biblical excuse for being a no show?

If so the following may apply.

Sure it's easy to be a Christian by not going to church. Just stay at home. Don't get involved in church outreach. Don't support the spreading of the Gospel with your funds. Don't give your offerings to any organized body of believers. Don't help anyone to know the Truth. Just stay at home. . .No one will ever know and you will not be embarrased by having to teach anyone about Christ from your Bible.

Hebrews 10: 24,25 tells us that we should not forsake coming together.

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

One of Satan's tactics is to isolate one of the little lambs and then he can have his way with them.

The Bible is a marketing tool for religious insurance peddlers. It uses fear tactics to get you to give money to the church, any church. It was pretty much corrupted by the Catholics during the middle ages. Read The Gnostic gospels by Elain Pagels. Another by Elaine pagels that is very good and deals with just this question is called "Beyond Beleif". If you have to choose between the two then choose Beyond Belief.

Abraham was alone he did not go to church:

God says in Isaiah 51:

"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
and who seek the LORD :
Look to the rock from which you were cut
and to the quarry from which you were hewn;
2 look to Abraham, your father,
and to Sarah, who gave you birth.
When I called him he was but one,
and I blessed him and made him many.
