I wonder that myself every day!

If you watch the news every day, you begin to wonder if there are many left. I live in a fairly upscale neighborhood in a midsized town in the Midwest, USA, and rarely do we go more than a few weeks without some drive by or gang related shooting. That is not counting all of the domestic violence. I know that I went through my rebellious years, but the thought of getting a gun and shooting another human being never occurred to me, nor probably to the so called "hoodlums" of my day. I will admit that a frying pan seemed like a good idea a few times during my younger years! Just when I think things are spinning out of control in this world, I will see or hear of somebody doing something so sacrificially kind for a stranger that I am revived. In my area I personally know of two people that received a kidney from a live donor that heard about their plight, and asked to be tissue typed. Both of the recipients are doing well, all because of the love of a stranger.
