I am Christian and I say Merry Christmas.

I am not offended when my Jewish friends wish me a Happy Hannukah, nor when my agnostic friends say Happy Holidays.

I just wish everyone felt that way!

no I am not offended. I'm jewish. should I be? I don't agree with the celebration or holiday but why should it offend me

* on the other hand if I am walking into a card store and I am wearing a kippa and a star of david necklace and tzits and some one says merry christmas , being the smart @$$ I am I might say ( not to point out the obvious but I'm jewish :) ) and I'll do it with a smile lol

I don't get offended. But some people do because others just assume you celebrate Christmas. Sometimes, when people tell me "Merry Christmas", I tell them "Happy Hannukah" just to be a smart*ss (I was raised Jewish). I think it's worse when people get offended when you say "Happy Holidays". I think that's just stupid.

you're making a solid factor approximately Hallowe'en and yuletide. you're able to *a minimum of* be allowed to assert Merry Christmas *and* happy holiday trips in a difficulty like that. I propose, there are different holiday trips on the comparable time even with the shown fact that it does not propose you are able to't renowned the single you celebrate. regrettably company united statesa. is attempting to erase the actual which means in pursuit of the all effective dollar. *OOPS* sorry, have been given somewhat preachy there.

scared? I had a Jewish friend once who would get a little ruffled at all the Merry Christmas's she'd receive in the course of a day. but as an atheist, I really don't care.

No I say it because that is what I believe. If someone is offended than that is their problem. I celebrate Christmas not Xmas, Not the Holidays, Not the Season, or any other stupid PC term for Christmas. At work we send out Christmas cards that have to say "Merry Christmas" It is getting harder to find them, but we do. If someone doesn't like it and gets offended than that is their loss, they can do business with someone who is spineless and PC.

No, it doesn't offend me. If someone wants to believe in Santa all there lives that is there business, I don't try to bash their beliefs unless they try to impose them on me.

Actually the only Christmas card I get is from a Jewish friend who thinks I'm a Christian. I actually like getting her Christmas cards and I haven't had the heart to tell her I'm not a Christian.

Not at all. If someone says "Merry Christmas" to me, I give them a warm smile and repeat it back to them. Most people don't know I celebrate Yule, and anyway I know the intent is warm wishes, and that's what counts with me.

I am not afraid to say that. Why the hell would I be. And no, I'm not offended, but it is funny when I buy stuff at the mall and when the store clerk says, "Have a nice Christmas", I always reply, "I'm Jewish." I'm not, but it's funny to see them try to back up.

I celebrate Christmas. I'll still definately say it to whoever. If they tell me flat out they don't celebrate it, I just say a simple sorry and go about my day.
