I always feel like I am shaking,
But never on the outside.
It is like my muscles are vibrating,
but it isn't noticable to anyone elce.

Ugh, it sound weird, but it so uncomfortable!
You try sitting still, but shaking
uncontrollably on the inside.
If you have any idea what is going on,
or anyway to treat it,
I will be eternally greatful!

I agree with the guy above me about the anxiety thing, but I want to add that it might be a sugar thing too, like hypoglocemia or diabeties type symptoms. I hate saying this because I hate when I ask a question like this and people tell me this answer, but seriously, you should see your doctor about it. A simple blood test can at least rule some things out.

I don't currently have any answers for you, but I too am having the sensation you are describing. It's as if my body is quivering and I feel it in my spine, head and all over. No one else can feel or see it happening. The feeling gets worse when I am lying down and it wakes me up at night. I am seeing a neurologist for a muscle nerve problem, but I am yet to have a diagnosis or an answer to what this feeling is. Are you having any other symptoms with this? If so I would recommend seeing a doctor. I will keep you to date on what I find out for me. Will you do the same?

The mind is a motor, like a piston. It sounds like one lobe is overloading the other, thus the inner shakes.

Try deep breathing when it occurs. That should give your circuitry the ability to even out the flow, like pouring water on a flare up of flame in coals.

I got this off a quitting smoking site but it'll give you good guidance on the breathing.

"""Deep Breathing Techniques

This exercise will show you how to breathe without cigarettes in a way that slows down the pace of your whole body and therefore promotes general relaxation. Deep breathing should be done using your stomach muscles as well as your lungs.

Before doing this exercise, put a hand on your abdomen. As you inhale deeply, feel your stomach pull in toward your spine. When you exhale, feel your stomach muscles release. As you do the exercise, pause comfortably at the end of each exhalation until you feel ready to take the next deep breath.
Think of your lungs as balloons that you are trying to fill as completely as possible.

Here is the exercise:

1) Breathe in deeply, letting your stomach expand until your lungs are filled. Pause for a moment and then exhale until your lungs are emptied.
2) Pause for a moment, then take another deep breath, filling your lungs completely.
3) Hold for a moment, and now let the airflow out, focusing your mind on restful thoughts.
4) Keeping the pace regular, again breathe in deeply, hold a moment, and now let the air out, feeling more and more relaxed.
5) Take another breath in, hold it for a moment, and gently breathe out, and let the tension escape from your body.
6) Once more, breathe in, pause a moment, now exhale, and feel the deep relaxation""

It could be a number of things - a good doctor would give it a name. You don't give enough information but it could be anxiety based. There's two ways at getting at that - if it's external things that are getting at you, talking therapies are better, but if it just happens anyway even if you are not under pressure it may need medication. This isn't something to freak about, some of us are born with chemical imbalances that need compensation. However it may not be anxiety - so see a doctor first.

I get it too. It's mostly near my heart or lungs. It's as if I am feeling weak.

I think you should see a doctor. Maybe you have restless legs syndrome or something similar.
