Ive been dating a marine for about 5 months now. And we love each other and talk about marriage.Well I talk about marriage, but he says he wants to also. Well lately it seems that Im always the one making the first contact everyday, like texting first.Maybe Im not giving him a chance to text me first.I dont know. But what if I didnt text him and just waited on him to text me. Pull back on me making all the contact, what do you think that would do to our relationship? And I should probally stop having to ask him to call me right?

I think you should pull back. Give him a chance to take action, and see how that goes. If nothing happens, maybe you need to talk to him about what's going on. If you get a good reaction, then I'm happy for you!

being in the service with the war going on he may have a lot on his mind at the moment and depend upon you to make that contact So I wouldn't stop doing that but you could cut back a bit and not do that as often to see what his reaction is. If that hurts the relationship, it wasn't as strong as you may think it is. Good Luck to you with this!!

in my personal opinion 5 mo isnt enough to really talk seriously about marriage - but thats just an opinion - i wouldnt completely give up contacting him but i would do it first everyday - not trying to promote you playing games but he should put forth an effort too - try telling him to call you when he wakes up in the am when you two are getting off the phone at night - see what happens -

I'm a United States Marine and i can tell you our life is Very VERY hectic... you have to understand when dating someone in the military Especially hate Marine Corps you are going to have to make sacrifices. u will never have to stop asking, my girlfriend calls me and it makes me happy that someone actually cares for me enough to call me, and not HAVE to have me call them, its like they want to talk to me, and he obviously wants to talk to you. Are you in a long distance relationship or do you live near him also, that's a big one.

a relationship would never work out when each one of you is focused only with one another...
a little independence and freedom won't hurt...
give your man some time, and make him MISS you, and in soonest time he'll realize he does not wan to lose you!...

i think you should give him some time because ur going to get him tirred oh n about the marriage its too soon to talk bout that dont do it ur going to scare him away... give it all some time.....and why dont you ask him why hes been acting like that remeber in a nice way..........................good luck
