Oh, no honey, please listen to me. A good obidient young lady will let the man ask. He is the head and the first. Why would you want to degrade yourself AND society to someone who is superior to you... a woman? Before you get mad, just consider that is was the way the good Lord above intended. If he wanted girls to be independent, smart and strong physically and mentally, he would have made them that way... One day, you'll understand, my dear. This dance is the very first step toward getting a good (Christian) man. Who will protect you, provide for you and give you a wonderful life of the near-extinct dutiful housewife. God's plan... to raise the perfect Christian family. To multiply and grow. To serve and obey your husband without question as the head. To put him before yourself, your family and your children. He is God's gift to you. He is God's gift to Earth... yes... being the obidient wife is the ultimate fulfilment. Careers hold no future for you. Get out. NOW!!! You are defiling your place. If you're husband should become mad and hit you. DONT call the police. Just look at yourself and ask what are YOU doing wrong? It's NOT his fault. YOU were in the wrong. Fix the problem and return to your duties...

YES YES YES This is 25007. It is great that women can ask men out. So ask him. It takes a lot of courage to ask someone out for the first time. The first time I asked a girl out (and it was to Homecoming) I had to take an Alka Seltzer to settle my stomach before I could call her. Then her line was busy. I saw her the next day, got a flash of courage, and asked her. She became my first steady, and almost 50 yrs later we are still friends.
