By upcoming boyfriend do you mean that you are single and have no commitment to anyone right now but you're willing to just have sex with the next guy that you date? I'm sort of confused by that.
In any light, don't be so eager to jump into a sexual relationship. Have enough self worth to hold out for what is right.

Ok, sex is something between you and the person you are wanting to have sex with. If you have to bring your friends into the equation then maybe you are either to young or to immature to be even considering sex. And by all means, DO NOT let someone else decide when YOU are ready. It is YOUR body, YOUR choice. Having sex should be a well thought out and well informed decision. You should make sure to protect yourself against pregnancy and STD's. Speak to your doctor or your parent.

If you feel ready for sex, (assuming you're not underage) and it's something you want to do with your boyfriend then what has it got to do with your friend?
Sounds like she needs to grow up and concentrate on her own life.
edit: after re-reading your question and noticing the "pinky swear" comment, I'm inclined to think that you probably ARE underage in which case you shouldn't be having sex whether you want to or not.

Sex before or outside of marriage is wrong. and dangerous.
You're friend is right. What if you get pregant? Protection doesn't always work. What if you get a STD?
Sex before marriage will cost you in the future. Physically and emotionally.
And if your BF pressures you about it..then maybe you need a new boyfriend. Becasue the guy who truly cares about you, will respect your limits and boundaries. And he won't even try to cross the line.

Your "upcoming" bf? Lol. Why do you want to have sex with someone who isn't even your boyfriend yet? If he wants it, good for him, but he'll have to jerk himself until you feel like you want to... And you say you "want" to but then you mention you're not sure what to do if HE wants it... So basically, neither of you have done anything to indicate to each other that you actually DO want it. So why not just get to know your boyfriend first, and when you actually feel like there's a reason to have sex, and he feels the same way, then proceed to the act?

if she is ur BEST friend, or even a very close friend then i would hang on wat she says! bf's don't last forever but friends can last a lifetime! and if u do stay with this guy then mayb ur friend will ease up about it and in the future u can give in to him! as alway this is from ME! follow ur heart!!
