i thought it would be fun to paint his nails, but just until he leaves. He seems to be okay with it but i want to know how to bring it up

Personally I think this is a really silly idea, and not nice. You obviously know he doesn't want you to do this or you wouldn't be wondering how to bring it up. You'd just ask. Now think about it, do you like it when he tries to get you to do things you'd rather not do? Things that make you uncomfortable? If you coerce him into doing this are you going to ask him to wear your clothes next? If you care about him, you should treat him with kindness and respect. This is disrespectful. If you don't care about him and you are just playing with him to see how far you can get him to go, I think you should just leave him alone.

Give him a foot massage. Ask him if he would like a pedicure with it. He can cover it up easily enough.

im the kind of guy that is secure enoguh that i would paint them any color if my girlfriend wanted me to, but she seems indifferent to it, so i dont bother.
