alright so we can agree if you dont believe in jesus you go to hell. BUT.....in this verse
(John 14:6 and Matt 10:32-33). If he denies Jesus, then Jesus will deny him."
but do people necessarily deny him when they have never experienced or learned about him.
isnt hell just for people who say outloud "I deny jesus."
keep in mind there is middle ground between denial and accepting.

Actually, you have it half right.

Read John 14:6 again. It says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (KJV)

So, without the Son, there is not way to come before the Father.

It's good to see that you are actually reading the answers though. Thanks. Guess I'll keep on answering. Honestly, I was beginning to wonder if anybody actually read anything I had to write.

Rev. chapter 3:20. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me.I believe that Jesus deals with every heart at some point of their life. And each person has a chance to accept Him, now more than ever.Through the television satellite stations, missionaries, bibles, Internet, The word is spread throughout the world. don't believe there is a middle ground, It's yes or no.This whole thing is a war between God and Satan, good and evil. It has been since the beginning of time. The Bible doesn't say anything about a middle ground. You don't have to say "I deny Jesus" If you don't accept Him into your heart, then He's not there. He won't come in unless He's invited. All of us will have the chance to make that decision. To answer your question, Jesus is the only way to heaven. He gave his life and shed His blood to cover our sins. If just anybody could go to heaven , His sacrifice would have been for nothing. Why would God send His son to die for nothing?

In our minds there is a difference in denial and accepting.

However, God is a totally different kind of being. There are only 2 endings for our human lives- heaven or hell. Therefore, you are either with God or against God.

Technically there is no one who has never heard of Jesus. They might not have heard of him in the way we have, but you can trace back almost any group of people and find the story of sacrifice. God also revels himself in ways other than through the Bible or Missionaries. Our pastor did a wonderful Bible study on this.

Check out the first 5 chapters of Romans. They will answer several of your questions.

Don't use verses out of context. You need to also look at what it says around those particular verses.

Those types of people will be judged according to the law (the Old Testement) but these days the Holy Spirit is revealing Jesus in third world countries in dreams and visions. He is not willing that any perish (and go to hell) but that all come to repentance. Many muslims and Hindues are turning to Him in record numbers around the world.
He will go great measures to save a soul from hell. People accept Him on thier deathbed .However it is wise not to wait till the last minute. There are bible verses to help understand that God is merciful and does not want (anyone) to go to hell. This is why people preach the gospel so people (can know of the truth). It is up to that person to recieve or reject Christ. God gives people free will.

You are on the right path with this question. I had the same question years ago. It is not one easily answered. I found the answer within the LDS church. No other denomination I studied could answer this to where it made sense to me.
Only if you deny the Holy Ghost will you be sent to hell. Those that never heard of Christ will have that opportunity in "Paradise" that is mentioned in the New Testament. Paradise and Heaven are two different things. Paradise is where we go to await judgement day.

According to this denying Jesus is not the big sin. Read the Gospels Bro.
Mathew 12:31-32

Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Not all Christians would accept the premise that if you do not believe in Jesus you are going to hell. Frankly, I think your belief in God is less relevant than your actions. As to "denying Jesus" it is likely this was placed in the Gospels as a warning to those who would recant their faith in the face of martyrdom. Peter also denied Jesus. In a sense so did the rest of the apostles (other than John) who fled rather than stand by the Cross with Jesus. They would pay for that betrayal by becoming martyrs.

This idea of non-believers going to hell is also present in Islam. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked the fate of his dead relatives who died before they had the opportunity to become muslims, Muhammed told them that they were in hell. The people who heard this became enraged and tried to kill Muhammed who had to flee for his life.

So while some of you Christians are saying only you are going to heaven, a lot of Muslims are saying that only they are getting into heaven. I expect we will all be very surprised at who actually goes to hell and who goes to heaven. Besides most souls require purification for theirs sins after they die. I believe that the majority of souls go to Purgatory first. Only the most wretched impenitent sinners go to hell and only the most repentant and holy people go straight to heaven.

I believe what Judaism teaches - that the righteous will be saved. If people adopted this sensible viewpoint we would have a lot less arguing about who is right, who is wrong, who is going to heaven, who's going to hell, who isn't saved, etc.. It's all rather tiring.

It's like this;
God wants only certain people. He doesn't want everybody, and therefore puts the ability to understand Him in only those He wants.

The question that people who wonder about that ought to ask themselves is, " Do I WANT to come to God? If I knew He was there, would I want to be a part of what He has going?"

If the answer is, "Yes". then God wants that person. No matter how bad they were, God wants that person. A person cannot want to come to God unless God puts that desire in that person.

So all things that might get brought up about, "I did this thing", and "I did that thing" doesn't matter unless it makes them see clearly that they have something to repent about.

So a person can spend their whole life denying Jesus, but if they still want to come to God, they can. The day they don't want to come to God, it's too late, they cannot come to Him.

The Catholic Church believes that Christ attained salvation "for all men" by his death on the cross. It teaches that salvation comes from "God alone," but that the Church is the "mother" and "teacher" of the faithful. Specifically, it teaches that Christian baptism is generally necessary for salvation. However, Catholic teaching also allows for the salvation of one with genuine ignorance of Christian teaching, who "seeks the truth and does the will of God in accordance with his understanding of it." Unbaptized catechumens are saved, in the Catholic view, because the desire to receive the sacrament of baptism, together with sincere repentance for one's sins, assures salvation. In the case of the righteous unlearned, "It may be supposed that such persons would have desired Baptism explicitly if they had known its necessity" and, by extension, they will attain salvation.
