My home i just purchased has a dryer vent that is to big?

the vent attached to the dryer is 4 inches and the vent in the house is 4 1/2 how do I fix this i need my dryer quick

just insert the 4" into the 4 1/2" pipe... then wrap with "foil tape"... it will be just fine...

Home Depot and Lowe's deal with this everyday. Take the measurements to them.

Go to home depot and ask for a reducer. Go to the plumbing and heating area
