Yip man, would win hands down. 10 days before his death he was recorded breaking an arm off a wooden dummy. I'd like to see some one doing this in their prime. Yip may have looked skinny and weak but the power, discipline and focus he maintained was extreme.

I would suggest it would depend on 2 main factors - what rules, if any they fought under & who managed to 'fight their fight'. By this I mean if Mas could successfully deliver the same shots he killed bulls with I think Yip would at the least be visiting the nearest A & E. However if Yip could redirect his opponents blows & land his own such as kicks to the knee caps & strikes to the centre line then he would be victorious. I beleave both are due great respect from modern martial artists & that the modern mma & reality based systems in particular owe them an enormous amount. TM

Mas Oyama would absolutely destroy Yip. He seemed to be the fitter, stronger and more conditioned man. Not saying that Yip wasn't a good fighter... he'd beat any of our asses.

Mas Oyama would knock Yip's head off. His style was too aggressive and he was too powerful.

Mas would beat him to a pulp because of his superior strength and training.
