To get back at me for not believing in Him. He's spiteful that way.

The creationists are duping each other into rejecting scientific theories that invalidate their world view.
But evidence wins, even if it takes a century of resistance before most people notice.
One of the worst creationist ads was on a Christian radio station in my hometown that had a "scientific-sounding" white male actor voice explaining, in a very snobbish way why evolution is not real. It's as if creationists make assumptions about science and hope to make everyone forget what defines science: Not the sound of an authoritative guy, but a method of exploring the natural world.

I wish I could tell you why mosquitoes, but I'm still having trouble getting past the mental image of renegade potatoes taking over South America.

Evolution states that things evolve to better suit their environment. Evolution explains all of the natural history with evidence.
While creationism says that animals were created already perfectly adapted to their environment and will never change.
When animals do die, God must create animals that are very much like the animals they 'didn't evolve' from. It really makes no sense if you take a critical look at it.

The fact the animals adapt to niches to survive has nothing to do with God being real. The people on the radio were grasping for straws. They probably interpret everything as divine intervention.

That's just plain silly. And absolutely in no way disproves evolution. How can it? That can be answered using evolution!

It's interesting how one can easily twist logic to one's needs. Christian pundits seem to be masters at it. I wonder if they know their are "sinning" (fabricating the truth) when they do that?
