I would suggest you take the kitty to the vet. It is difficult to say if it is only a feline depression or if the cat is seriously ill. So if you love your pet, invest in a consultation. The doctor will know what to do.
good luck

First off is your cat strictly an indoor cat? What is the cats age? Is his nose wet and cold? How about the eyes, is his third eye showing? Is he urinating? If he is outdoor...he may have gotten into some poison, alot of could be's....but a vet visit surely would not hurt if this has been going on for a week. I have 2 cats...one is 19 years old and healthy as the energizer rabbit!! The other is a rather plump 20+ pound boy, almost 10.

Make a vet appt. He's shaky because of lack of food and hydration. You need to be concerned anytime there's a change in activity level and eating/drinking. Just think of yourself. When you're sick you sleep a lot, feel shaky and dont want to eat or drink much. Your cat is trying to tell you that they dont feel well.

yep, it would be a good idea to take the cat to the vet. Your cat may be VERY ill and may not get better without a professional diagnosis

Well if you let your cat go outside. Then it a huge problem. If you do maybe your cat got hurt somewhere and you may not notice the injury. And the injury could be somewhere in the fur.You should take your cat to the vet.

When my cat behaved like that, I was told he had diabetes.
Take him to a vet while there's still time.
