At the ripe old age of 70,I realize that I dont have to work as hard to be happy. It comes naturally now. This is after 4 children 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren-a marriage that ended in divorce after 20 years, a career as a nurse for 33 years. I beleive in God more than I ever have in my life. My mother used to say that life either grinds you down into dust or polishes you into a diamond. It all depends on what you're made of. Ask yourself if you are really all that weak.

Sorcerers and diviners will bother you more of course. That can be alot. The rest of the world is working against you, and eventually you don't fit in. You should fear God, he can be more scary than the world. To save you some headaches and problems, I'll just tell you. Jesus, I'm pretty certain, was a fake and Judaism was and is still the only true religion. I have pretty good proof, but of course if you are so inclined, you can make the bible say anything you want. I'm not so inclined. I take it at its word. It makes sence that way believe it or not. To clear things up, I consider the whole New Testament to be fake, useless except for the proof that Jesus was just a man and some geographical history. The whole Old Testament may be true but I've got my doubts about some of it.

is a good site about why Christianity isn't really real. It can help you with all that wasted time and energy and hopes in church. If you want proof of the Exodus, buy the movie "The Search for the Real Mount Sinai" or "Mountain of Fire" if you can get it anywhere. It contains video footage of what is in almost all probability the mountain, calf altar, Split Rock of Horeb, Cave of Elijah, and such of the Old Testament. These two movies have about the same stuff so I recommend the "Mountain of Fire", the other doesn't have footage of the Split Rock. Also I've read of correlations between Jewish and Egyptain writings that date the exodus to the end of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. I read this in "Riddle of the Exodus" by James D. Long.

To sum things up, sorcery and telling the future is real; I've had first hand experiences with a sorcerer. There is probably a God, but I don't know what he does or when or why or how. I've seen a couple of real miracles after I asked, prayed alot, fasted, stayed clean, and bowed to God, but they will probably only happen when you do these things. Obviously I don't know everything, and I'll consider it a problem until I do.

Hang in there...God has never promised an easy road. When I look back on my life...to the ashes of destruction of some of my life experiences, I have found that from such devastation great blessings have risen from the ruins. The death of my father, when I was just 16 for example, shook my world. The man that I will be celebrating my 10th year anniversary to in March, came from those ashes. He was the friend I could turn to then...little did we know then that from that deepened bond of friendship, forged through the sharing of fiery pain, 6 years later we would be walking down the aisle. Does that lessen the feeling of original loss? Of course not, but I can see the chain reaction of events in hindsight. Who knows what great plan God has in store for you! Even if you are not coming from a biblical perspective I do suggest you read the Bible and get strength from the great examples and stories from Joseph, Jonah and many other men that suffered and kept their eyes on God, and saw the blessings later. Joseph would never have been second in command to the Pharaoh had he not been enslaved and imprisoned! Some of the pain in life comes from our own bad decisions, or holding so tightly to our own agenda and not submitting to Gods will. When we stumble on the jagged rocks in the path we have chosen, it is to remind us to stop, pray and listen. Even when we are walking on that path cleared for us by God it can get dark and we think we are lost. It is those times that enable our faith to grow and get stronger. A swords blade is only as strong and as it is fired and beaten over and over. I will pray fervently for you this evening. God Bless

LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

The Bible compares life to a race. Just keep your eyes and mind on the finish line. Sometime God "stretches" people in their lives to attain growth.

what I find is that in life, kindness is often misconstrued as a stepping mat. If you decide to be kind in this world, you must also decide to be assertive. Don't let your acts of kindness be taken for granted and don't be kind to those who are unkind to you, because it will only make you bitter.
As for god, well, it has nothing to do with your being good or not- make your own decisions.

Good luck in life,
Tali

Good for you. Reality is setting in. Don't be afraid, but know that it is not easy. Life was never meant to be easy or fair.

On the plus side, know that you're living life on your own and not through some delusion. YOU know right from wrong, YOU are resonsible for your actions, both good and bad.

I think it is because we set higher standards for ourselves. Don't give up on God or yourself. You can do this. Count your winners. Look back at your improvements.

Example: weight lifters start out with light weights. As they build their muscles, they increase the weights. Somedays, they have sore muscles. Those that give up do not get stronger.

Blessings

I think its sort of like the whole with privledges comes responsibility

with knowledge there is also responsibility
so maybe life isn't harder, but you've just been made more aware.
