Hear O Israel, I wish you really could hear. We were done with that subject. We disagree, strongly. There is no middle ground. You cut off communication by private email because you disagreed so strongly with my explaination.
Did you think I would not post comments in reply? We are done with this topic. Done. And, as of today, there I am blocking you. You have alternate means to contact me if you wish to continue any discussions. Which I do not.
Just one thing, Hear, are you following Yeshua or the Rebbe?

In short:
It was Ephraim and Manasseh their birthright was passed directly on to them by Jacob. One was to be a father to a very great nation (I believe America) and his brother was to be a father of a multitude of nations (I believe the United Kingdom).
Genesis 48:19
And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
Think about it. America and the UK come from the same area. One a very great nation and the other a multitude of nations. No other nations can claim the same fate as these two "brothers". This is very great and takes a very long time to explain. I have looked into this for years. I will try to explain more Monday if I have time.
The birthright went to Joseph, which included the richest, most valuable material inheritance ever passed from father to son. The magnitude of this birthright is staggering. The national greatness was as promised. Also they would be populated as the sand of the sea and possess the gate of their enemys.
Genesis 22:17
17That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
The U.S. and UK have possessed at one time every shipping lane in the world, such as the Suez, Panama, and the Straight of Gibralter.
God told King David the sceptre will never depart from Judah. God never broke his promise but Israel (the country) does not have a King or Queen. Because of sin they were driven out of their land and scattered.
Genesis 49:10
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
2 Samuel 7:12-16
12And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
14I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
15But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
16And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
Deuteronomy 29:27-29
27And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
28And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
29The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
King Solomon had sinned.
1 Kings 11:11-13
11Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
12Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
13Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
The prophet Jeremiah took a young girl. A direct decendant of King David to the north. She later married royality a king. Keeping the promise of the kingdom that God gave to David.
Jeremiah 1:10
10See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
The Kingdom was rooted out of Judah and given to Israel (Jacobs other decendants)
Psalm 89:34-36
34My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.
The United Kingdom is the only Kingdom in the World that has spanned the globe. The sun could not set on this kingdom. They possessed lands in South Africa, North America, Australia and Hong Kong.
I have not began to scratch the surface on this. I need a website to post all of this on. It is enough info to fill a book.
The significance of Israel doing this is Gods promise to Abraham was passed directly to the sons of Joseph. Joseph received the birthright. I don't feel I gave enough information because there is so much to give. This points you in the right direction. It's a lot of studying world history and a lot of studying the scriptures. It explains why we (US and UK) have been blessed so greatly, above all nations of the world.

The honest element to do is to adhere to the bible as God meant it to be talked about. The bible is an historic manuscript almost continuously written in Hebrew. even if this is to be talked about to the letter then the letters might want to be in Hebrew. As I are conscious of it the Hebrew scholars say that 'the bible' might want to be interpreted allegorically. This defeats the point of following the bible actually interior the first celebration. i do not have an issue with Christians cherry figuring out on and preserving the 'incorrect' or a complicated interpretation. I do have an issue if any Christians attempt impose their interpretation because the in worry-free words interpretation politically or otherwise. i presumed that replaced into what the reformation replaced into all about. For the point of debate on atheists gazing Christianity and searching it complicated. What might want to Christians make of atheists right here? some say Jesus replaced into historic figure, others say he does no longer exist in any respect. it is from the gang of folk claiming to be clinical, rational, consensual and depending on the info. We Christians are meant to be the 'faith' depending team; the position you would possibly want to assume competition between the distinct faiths. enable us face this is human nature to cherry p.c.. and choose 'the info' which will help our own argument.

Some time later Joseph brought his two sons to visit me, and while they were there I adopted them as my own. I told Joseph that all his subsequent sons would be his but that these two were mine to make up for the sons Rachael never got a chance to give me, having died giving birth to Benjamin. As I blessed them, I reversed the order of their birth signifying that the younger, Ephraim, would surpass the elder, Manasseh. From that time on the names of Ephraim and Manasseh were included in any mention of my sons.
I included prophecies for Ephraim and Manasseh in my words to Joseph, predicting the strength and battle skills of their descendants. Together they settled most of central Israel including the hill country and land east of the Jordan, the most fertile lands in the nation, and spilled over into Jericho. The blessings of the Almighty would be upon them because of the favor Joseph had found with the LORD, and the double portion of the first born would go to Joseph as well, for distribution to his two sons.

There are many significances, I think that you are talking about Genesis 48 and 49.
Hold on, I'll tell you a bunch.
Please don't delete the question.
The problem with many interpretations of Israel's handing down the blessings is that they typically are thinking that these were Jews. When they were not Jews, and no one would call them Jews until there was a split in the Kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom were then called Jews. All were Hebrews and Israelites, but not all were Jews. They all practiced Judaism, but no one called it that back then.
Israel blessed Joseph first,
15 Then he blessed Joseph and said,
"May the God before whom my fathers
Abraham and Isaac walked,
the God who has been my shepherd
all my life to this day,
and then his sons together,
16 the Angel who has delivered me from all harm
—may he bless these boys.
May they be called by my name
and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac,
and may they increase greatly
upon the earth."
Then Israel blessed them individually, but crossed his arms because the greater blessing was to go to the younger boy,
to which Joseph protested:
7 When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim's head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father's hand to move it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head. 18 Joseph said to him, "No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."
19 But his father refused and said, "I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations." 20 He blessed them that day and said,
"In your name will Israel pronounce this blessing:
'May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.' "
So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh.
This is significant because the blessings of Ephraim were to go out ahead of his brother.
We can see this manifesting with future prophecy:
Ezekiel 37:16
"Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, 'Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, 'Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.'
Ephraim was a sort of locater signifying the northern tribes of Israel. And God used them to fulfill certain aspects of prophecy. Ephraim along with the northern tribes were absorbed into the world of the Gentiles. But God did not forget them, and I believe still has a place where he keeps them. Undoubtedly they are mixed into the races of the Earth, but they started off that way to begin with. For the wife of Joseph was an Egyptian, and so his sons were half Egyptian.

Um... don't they get the same measure as Joseph's brothers? The same portion? Because Jacob took them as his sons, in a sense.
This is a good question. Too bad no one's tried to answer it yet.
Um... now if you're talking about the covenant, then they and their descendants get the same measure as Jacob's other sons...
