usually, yes- and if your resume sounds pretty good- and you don't match it- in your grammar, and the way you behave..... it's a tell-all....
try not to word things in your resme that sound "overly professional" if the position you're looking for is not executive level... make sure YOU match what your esume is offering.

Sure people can tell, but now days studetns are getting tought in school how to write a resume which is basically the same format as one from a resume builder. Either way its going to show your qualities & after recently helping my paretns with a job selection process, i think that the computer generated ones
1) are a lot easier to read & follow & when comparing to cantidates it makes it much easier
2) Show that you think about presentation becauseits neat & orderly.

BUT you should also add something to make yours stand out, for example a picture or a bit of colour a lot are black & white & if you can go through it makes you want to read it & easier to remember.

Almost everybody uses at least a word processor to create a resume. As for specific software, I suppose that practice makes the reader aware of what is a resume software product and what isn't.

sometimes in rural areas people just write one out neatly with pencil

then they get hired for good jobs
