The concept that Jesus had to die to save mankind from God's wrath that God brought about in the first place coupled with the idea that believing a demigod existed automatically gets you a ticket to heaven while everybody else burns in hell may be your idea of something to fight for but from an objective point of view it seems very nonsensical.

That is the problem with these type of post. You know the kind. The is better to believe than not because x or y or we fight for something and you don't etc etc. You see People that come up with what they think are clever answer actually don't think their answer through and don't do their research. The error is that once you have an assumption you make that assumption true without any evidence to either support or contradict you position. In this case your assumption is that the only thing that atheist do all day is find ways to contradict religion. Ok, so maybe there are a few folks that do. But not all. You see, all that atheist means is a person who does not believe in Gods or a God. That is it. It doesn't say anything about their behavior or doctrine or even if they belief in anything else or if they have a lack of belief on everything.
Assumption number 2 is that people are in constant struggle against each other. Again, your belief is that atheist are against religion. Again, yes, some are and some aren't. A lot don't really care. The word is just a description of a belief system that you take it to be a struggle or oposiotion to a belief system. Many people simply don't belief in christianity or any other religion and leave it at that. Then they go about their own bussinness doing the same things you do. They spent time with their families, go to work, do their hobbies, watch movies, go to sleep etc etc. Difference might be that on sundays they sleep in. A lot do charitable work. Of course others do bad things like steal form people. Buyt the same can be said from so called religious people. In short no difference between a believer and non believer except when it comes to practicing their spirituality. If you where to stab a religious person and also stab an atheist they will both bleed and cry pretty much the same way. As a matter of fact. Go driving around town during the day. Look at people around you and then ask yourself which ones are believers and which ones aren't. Of course don't limit yourself to only christianity. If you knew the true answer you will see that it is impossible to tell with 100% accuracy who is a believer and who isn't. Well unless they are mornons riding their bikes with their white shirts. I mean in general terms.
Assumption number 3 is the believe that because a person does not believe in a God or in religion they must be empty souls with no reason to live for. Nothing can be further from the truth. A lot of these folks fight for humans rights, fight for their families, friends, injustice and other beleief that they held high. Same as any other believer. The difference is that the believer has one more item in their list. In the christians case is Christ. In the non believer list is short by 1.
I have not seen the last harry potter movie. I want to see it though. However, harry potter is wrong. Voldermort does have plenty to fight for. He fights to destroy harry potter and to conquer the wizzard world. Yes, it is not the most honorable goal but that is his dream and desires. The bad guy puts as much effort into his evilness as the good guy puts into his goodness. It is not an easy task being evil. There are fewer peope you can trust, and there is a lot of management involved. Plus a lot of people want to take you out and other people want to take your place. A person who is willing to go through all that trouble has to have goals and dreams. Mess up dreams but hey they are dreams never the less.
Which brings us to yet another assumption. That evil people are evil 100% of the time. Lets take Hitler for example. Nobody can denied that Hitler was an evil bastard. Yet, he actually was good to the people that fit his image. He wanted his country to suceed. He wanted to eliminate the scurge of the earth and purify the world. Unfortunately the scruge of the earth are people like you and me. He was a mamas boy. Hitler loved his mom dearly. I don't think there is such a thing as pure evil. Bad people still love. They have friends and family who they get along with. They preocupy about other peoples well being etc etc. The difference is that their priorities are messed up. Some people love money first then their family, etc etc. The world is not black and white. It isn't that complicated either but it can't be explained with simplistic answers as in I belong to the red team therefore if you belong in the blue team you are my mortal enemy. Is more like I do not agree with you on X and Y issue but I do agree with you on Z.

Obviously atheists don't go to church. Then there's also things like praying before eating, sleaaping etc. Generally Christians are more likely to attend group activities related to their religion, like Christian youth groups. Most atheists pretty much just live life without really making a big deal about their life views (well except on the internet).

I'm not sure that's true but I think they will both admit they like the science fiction reading materials as well. I did also really enjoy these Harry Potter movies regardless of some religious groups banning them as satanist worship. I wouldn't say that atheists are evil though. Look into spiritual atheism.

Difference between atheists and Christians is indeed the forgiveness shown by Christs love.
I'm glad we have something worth fighting for, even though we war not against flesh and blood.
We need to remember that atheist are not our enemy. The enemy is god of this world who has blinded their minds.

That's because the supposed lover (Christ/God) does not exist. Why get peoples hopes up with promises of love that will not be fulfilled?
And Atheist deserves a capital first letter as much as Christian.

Ah, yes. There is surely nothing else in the world worth fighting for other than coming to the aid of an all-powerful figment of your imagination.

This is not only stupid, but dishonest and insulting.
Isn't your imaginary god supposed to have a problem with bearing false witness?
But since when is truth a christian value anyway.
