Because humans have been given authority over this earthly realm dominion over the earth the Lord is a gentleman he cannot and will not intercede here on earth if you do not ask him.

To get ourselves into the equation.
We are the ones who have to trust God for things. He already knows what we need, it's us that goes around doubting things until we make an effort to trust Him.

God desires to have fellowship with us. Prayer (talking to God) is part of fellowship. Reading the Bible (listening to God) is also part of fellowship.
