ok so im in 7th grade and i like a guy in 6th grade and i wanted 2 no if its ok 2 go out w/ a younger guy and then also i wrote the guy 2 notes and he didnt respond 2 1 of them not sure bout the other 1 and what can i do b-cuz he apaerntly hates me so how do i find out if he hates me and/or if he likes me thx 4 all the help but i just gave him the note at the beginning of the day and i dont c the 6th graders all day...
...o yea and 2 of his friends in 7th (my grade) told me he hated me but he doesnt act like a 6th grader he acts like hes in my grade and i ask him y and they said they dont know so i really hope he doesnt hate me

society has put a picture in our head that women must be younger than their bf and men must be older... SOCIETY IS STUPID, and who would care if u went out with a younger guy??? do wat u want. go get him :D

I doubt he hates you, but in the 6th grade boys are kind of on the fence as to whether they like girls or not, so that may account for the delay a bit. It's one of the few times in a boy's life when he can't trust his brain to make sensible decisions. (Other times are ahead which have the same effect, but this is about as benign as they get). By the way, you'll notice over time those friends get in the way. There is no better line of communication between two people than face to face....going through other people is a guarantee that something's going to get messed up somewhere. If you don't believe me, try a silly little experiment. Start on one side of your class and whisper something to the first person in the first row, then instruct him/her to turn around and whisper what you said to the next person. By the time it gets all the way to the last student what you hear won't sound very much like what you said at first....it never fails. You'll start out trying to score a date with their friend, and they'll wind up arranging your marriage to a chimpanzee. (Well, maybe not that extreme, but it's worth doing your own talking if you want to keep damage to a minimum. That's true for life in everything.) Good luck to you This could work out nicely.

First of all, I highly doubt that he hates you. If his friends are telling you that, don't you think they might be trying to see what your reaction is? If anything, I think that this 6th grader friend of yours enjoys the attention you are giving him and doesn't know what to do about it. He is probably a little intimidated that a 7th grader likes him. Nervously, he might tell his friends that he doesn't like you back and try to make himself look tough (you know how guys are).
The other possibility is, one of his friends likes you. Who is to say that one of his 7th grade friends doesn't have a crush on you? Obviously if he does, then it is in his best interest to make the 6th grader look bad.
I say just wing it. Have fun with it. You can pass notes all day but if you don't see him in the hall and say "hello" and what not, he won't know what to think of you. Notes only tell so much.

If 2 of his friends said that he hates you, i don't think they would be lying. And its a little wierd for a older girl to date a younger guy. I know there isn't that much of a diffrence in age, but still. Also, if you are that curious about if he really likes you, then just confront him. Go right up to him and ask how he feels. It might be hard, but the feeling afterwards will be worth it. So just try to not like him and maybe find someone new. You can't date him if he doesn't like you back! So just try to move on from him.

If his friends said he hates you then probably he does. Alternatively they're just being jackasses (because that's what 7th grade guys do) and he likes you. It's totally ok to go out with a younger guy. Doing so would probably make him less full of himself in the relationship which is a good thing because it will boost your self confidence.

You are so young, write him a note with a question in it and tell him where to leave it in your locker or a book in the library that no would check out.

Most sixth grade boys are not interested in girls. This interest starts after puberty.
