Ok ive known this gut for a vry long time but imt even friends with him really. But dont think this is cause he dosn't like me, because he doesn't hang out with many girls & im really shy around him. Pleae give me some advice on how to get his attention. i like him as a friend and maybe more. Help.

OK, this is an age old problem for a lot of girls. You like the guy, but don't know how to get him to even notice you!
What you need to try to do is to be nice, flirty, and genuine with him. Don't go overboard though. Do NOT hang on him, follow him around, etc. Guys like chasing girls, but they also have to get the hint that you like them. So just go up to him one day and start talking to him. If you want to you can even think about things to talk about beforehand, or just go and see what happens. When talking to him, don't be fake and over-the-top. Just be yourself and if he doesn't like you, then you can obviously do better, and if he does, then congratulations! But just give it time, because it definitely won't happen overnight.
One last thing, if after a while you start getting a vibe from him like me might be interested, don't be afraid to just go up to him and ask him out, or, if our bold enough, just go up to him and give him a light kiss on the lips. That's what I did, and I got the boy (and still have him).

You just can't let your shyness get in your way. You have to be willing to say hi to him and be nice. Then see how he reacts to you. If you are shy, then you have to go out of your way to be more open and friendly with him. Not to friendly, until you see how he is around you. It may take a little time but he will open up if you make him feel good and safe about being himself around you. =)

Ask him out to a public place like a shopping mall and sit and talk for a while. This will get the ball rolling and you will not feel so shy in that type of environment. good luck.

well i think you should start by asking him if he wants to hang out, find a party and see if hes goin. hang out with him there and talk. if tht aint ur thing then just come right out and tell him you like him and would like to do something sometime, go to a movie or something. thts the best thing i can tell ya

You have to get past that shy barrier. The best way for him to notice you is for you to talk to him. And the more you talk, the more comfortable you'll become. And once you're comfortable he can get to know the real you :oD
