Europe does not want the EU to be torn apart over Kosovo.
And EU does not want another 'muslim' ( Kosovo Albanians are not even muslims, but supported by them ) country in Europe.
It will stay as it is: the heart of SR Serbia. Mujaheddin and AQ members are welcome to leave any time and find another place for their base.

Worst case would be Serbian forces moving south to guard Kosovo Polye from danger and incursion by Albanians and Kosovo Albanians. Since that site near Pristina is the Serb's "Holy of Holies" it will be defended and kept safe. The Russian military did occupy that site to safeguard it during the Kosovo Campaign launched by NATO and that move by the Russians was misunderstood in Washington.

We can't just walk into Serbia and tell them they have to give up more than half their country just because a lot of Albanians have moved in.
Kosovo is Serbian territory and they have the right to defend themselves.
Everyone thank Clinton for this turd sandwich.

It will all depend on Serbia. The Kosovars have already let it be known ther intentions that in December they are declaring themselves independent of Serbia, and it will be done. The Serbs now need to decide which path are they going to take one of peace or one of war and I'm pretty sure the Albanians of Kosovo are ready to accomodate them in both. Worst thing that can take place is war of course. I do not know what is the big deal? Serbs lost Kosovo in 1999 when they tried to ethnically cleanse the area by violence. Do they think that the victims of their violent and brutal crackdowns ( an extremely low number of the Kosovar Albanians were left unmolested, so most of the people of Kosovo were effect one way or another and were basically victimized) want to remain in the same country or have anything to do with the people that did these terrible thing to them?
7 out of 10 nations in the world support Kosovo independence as long as it is done legally through a refferendum and without violence. Not to mention some of the world most notable democracies.
SmatAzz- "just because a lot of Albanians have moved in" . You are ill-informed and ignorant. Albanians did not move to Kosovo, Albanians have been living in Kosovo since the first recorded history on the region. Also it is not more than half of their country but a fraction of the territory that belongs to the people that reside their, people they victimized before for many years, and people that they hate with a passion. Just goes to show how much you know and your just talking out of your not so smartazz. Secondly Kosovo was a foreign policy success unlike the mess we are in Iraq right now. Not one soldier died in that conflict.

The worst and most likely case are the same.
As soon as Nato leaves, the genocide starts again.

it depends .what is right for Albanians its wrong for serbians and opposite . there are a lot of possibilities what will happen , but nobody have any doubt how will end the show . serbia became a state with strong backing of russia , and Kosova is becoming state with US help . i think that russian bear has enough problems than to think of serbia . its over my friends , you know it too , but have no courage to admit it .
