Someone asked earlier 'what religion are you?' Simple, innocuous question. But almost all of the answers received numerous thumbs down. What is your 'read' on the quality of answers given? Some answers were Christian, some Hindu or Muslim, some atheistic,,,,a real cross section of folks. Who hates others enough to be this ugly?

Tash-Viva - you surely are on the right track. Spewing hatred on this forum obviously gives some folks a 'kick'.... or a 'high'. They show the ugliness that is in their own soul. How unhappy these folks must be.

Robert K - have you answered some of my other questions? You sound so familiar. Mairzy Doats and Dozey Doats and Little Lambsie Divey was a popular song in the late 1940's and early 50's. I am somewhat surprised so many of you 'younger folks' know about it !! LOL

The most evangelical Yahoos are unbelievers who give a thumbs down to everyone who believes.
We believers need to be kind to each other, even if we disagree on theology. The main thing is that God loves you, and we need to love one another.

This is one of the reasons I am considering no longer coming to this forum. It is so hate-filled and has got worse of late.
Once someone answered a question which asked others what religion they were with "I'm a pagan". Someone reported the answer, it was deleted and the answerer received a violation notice.
The immaturity displayed here exceeds that which you would see in a preschool playground! The name calling, the unwarranted blocking and reporting...it's pathetic.
Most people don't come here to ask genuine questions or learn, they come here to vent their hatred and 'bash' others. They seem to think that being abusive of people not of their faith puts them up on a pedestal.
It's pretty moronic.

It's got to be the agnostics behind this senseless act of thumb downing....They generally lurk about on R&S, in groups of 2...One gives a thumbs up and one gives a thumbs down..

*sob* definite... I almost killed somebody close to me once I heard approximately this a week in the past. person swim became featuring it on advertisements. in spite of the undeniable fact that it took BLEACH's place!!! BLEACH! they did no longer even end their arch! yet its basically because of the fact Bleach does not have adequate english dubbed episodes to tutor. so as that they are getting greater. until then, death notice is on... regrettably. properly... i assume i'm getting to confirm how stable this coach is anybody is conversing approximately. to jasmine above me: it rather is why my mothers and dads do no longer be attentive to I watch those products. I merely say: watchin television. see ya later. and that i circulate into my room.

It's always seemed to me that R & S has the most anger and the most trolling.
Perhaps they're visigoths.
"Mares eat oats and does eat oats. And little lambs eat ivy......." For some reason I'm reminded of Shari Lewis and Lambchop. Don't know why. Maybe they sang that song on their show way back when.

I think YA should scrap thumbs down. It is supposed to be for a bad answer not an answer you disagree with. It influences voting.

I hate that. Thumbs down is meant for bad answers, NOT for when people don't like an answer! But that's how it usually works. Oh well. ;)

the thumbs down doesn't bother me, but my wife has almost quit answering questions because of them.
she has over 100,000 points, and over 6,000 best answers, and Y/A is about to loose her because of the thumbs down.

Happens all the time. If you ask someone what their favorite ice cream is there will be people who give it thumbs down...
