Yeah, it makes a mockery of the whole justice system when a celeb breaks the law and 9 out of 10 times gets away with it! what's the world comin to eh? :)

Honestly, after being a cop for a decade, having family that has been in Law Enforcement since the 60's and reading the rest of the newspaper, you would be surprised at just how often the rest of the non-celebrity world gets off without a scratch in the "justice system". For example, in the State of Washington, it takes SEVEN (7) convictions, not arrests, but actual convictions for auto theft before you are sentenced to prison. So basically you can get caught & convicted for 6 and never spend any time in prison. You will do some mild jail time (jail = county, prison = state or federal penitentiary) but nothing to lose any sleep over.

The reason we see/hear so much about the celebs is that between the 5 o'clock news, the papers & magazines, the internet and this "must have it now" world we live in, the celeb stuff makes for headlines while joe shmo getting arrested/off for the same thing doesn't.

That isn't to say that they don't get ANY special treatment, but it isn't as much as we think.

I am fed up with hearing about celebs lives period. Acting is a job and the Media has made it an adventure.
The only thing that I can say is..I am glad the cameras are not following average people going out on Fri or sat nights to clubs. I bet they would find that allot do the same things on a weekly basis and get away with it.

The only person that I will not watch any movie that has anything to do with because of his personal actions is Woody Allen.
Any one who will marry a child that you raised as your own has to be a sick puppy.

Money talks Bull Sh*t walks!! If you have enough money you can get away with anything! OJ Simpson proved that!Have you seen those so called rehabs there hotels with everything from massages to fine dining !! It must be sooo hard on those celeb junkies!! Britney Spears has to grow up same with Lindsey Lohan !! Spears just chose her party life over her children !! Isn't she a class act? If I never hear another word about them I'd be one happy camper!!

1. I don't really pay attention to that particular news, especially since most "news" concerning celebs is tabloid fabrication.

2. The fact that a person is considered "celeb" removes them from the "normal" category, anyway.

3. Because of 1. and 2., I just watch their movies and tv shows and otherwise don't give them any other thought.

I get fed up hearing about it, period. This is the news:

"We have breaking news, three hundred convicts have escaped from the local high security prison. But first, Lindsey Lohan gets caught drinking..blah blah blah..rehab....blah blah blah"

I could care less about ANYTHING to do with celebrities. The rich and the famous always get better treatment in everything. It's been that way for hundreds of years, and no matter how unfair it is, its not going to change anytime soon.

I trust you- Jeff Conoway is my favourite rehab member on the coach. i presumed he became fu**ed up on action picture star greater healthful club some years in the past, yet WOW! he desires this therapy or he would die!! it somewhat is strange how he would be wonderful one minute, then performing like a suicidal toddler the subsequent!! If I wasn't picking a rehab member, my absolute favourite on the coach is Dr. Drew. he's SO warm and so smart!! Did you spot how stable he appeared in those denims and tight T-shirt in final Thursday's episode? WOW!! average, i think of that's an incredible coach and intensely eye-commencing!

i dont know if judges give lenient judgements on celebrities cracking under the strain of stardom, but we know there is one US judge who wont take bullshit, ask miss spears wheres her kids now?. any joe shmo working in the seven eleven even so much as dropped litter they would get done if caught, a warning caution or a fine. but hey i should try that, i'll go out and kill somebody, maybe have a gay pool party involving cocaine at my house and a guest drowns under suspicious circumstances and even though i'm personally responsible all i have to do is cry i have an addiction or i had a shitty childhood and the judge would give me a tissue and pat me on the head as he sent me off to the priory. but the celeb who sickens me the most is george michael, not because he's gay but because of his sexual deviancy. picking random men up in parks and having "sex" with a total stranger makes me want to puke, or being caught at the wheel of his car stoned but he still has his licence!. its still a criminal offence to be in charge of a vehicle on the pubic highway under the influence of drugs or alcohol, just because the car is parked doesnt make it any less of an offence. anybody else who tried to say they parked the car then lit up a joint outside their own house and then fell asleep in the car would be given at least 9 points or 6th months suspended and a 1 year ban

A celb is not a celeb until they have been caught on drugs, drink rehab or court.
Its a defo case of double standards though
