It is a good buy, but see if the dealer extended the warranty to subsequent owners on the ball joints. They extended the warranty on ball joints on certain trucks, so find out if it can be extended to you. These are going through ball joints like crazy, and the Durangos were just added to the mix for the same problem, and also recalled for an updated ball joint. Other than that, these trucks are pretty reliable, especially if you stay away from the 4x4's.

i own a 2005 dodge ram 1500 DAYTONA edition and i love it. mine is aquad cab and the power on that truck is awsome. its my second dode ram ive owned.
