Just had a disturbing image of God straining on the toilet...I know...kinda takes away from that whole omnipotence thing doesn't it?

That would be disturbing for sure! lol
What I've come to learn is that God created our spirits and our bodies and designed them to be similar to his so that we could have the potential to become like he is. He calls us his children - his relation to us is similar to you having your own children; they will inherit your genes and therefore look a little bit like you and even develop a lot of those characteristics that you find in yourself. However, with God I believe the growth is much more. A good comparison would be like comparing a seed to the tree it came from. The seed at first is just this little thing in the dirt, but over time it will grow, it has potential, and eventually it can become just like the great tree that the tiny seed originally came from.

No, it doesn't. No matter how disrespectful we are to God, he is still omnipotent. He's the man straining on the toilet, the rapist in the frat house, the little green bug on a leaf, the water going in your body and the baby being born right now.

I wonder what part of his "image" we got: his free will; his physical body; his physiology; his psychology; the fact that we only use 10% of our brains; 20 digits; molars; stereo eyesight and hearing; cancer; mental illness; sexual organs? Just what is god's "image"?

dude that is soo disrespectful and awful. i dont care how many people laughed, that was terrible. besides, our sould were made in the image and likeness of God, until us people sined and got em all dirty.

I bet God has easy bowel movement. I bet Adam and Eve did too, until they got kick out of Eden. Now all of has to suffer from farts and hard poo or runy poo or stinky poo or splashy poo or too much wiping. I bet he doesn't have to wipe either. I bet his poo creates universe. Hey our poo is like fertilizer and helps the trees. Good call God.
