GuYs, I nEeD YoUr HeLp!?

Question

there is this guy that i like a lot. He is so sweet. I dont know what to do. Should i call him, or should i IM him. i call him every other week, IM him about once a week, and talk to him almost every morning for about 10 min. Should i be talking to him more to show i like him or am i obbsessing to much and being annoying. I want him to want to talk to me more and feel like he wants me to do these things, or does he want me to do these things? when i see him in the hall in school he always reaches out for a hug before i do too. Well I think you should tell him how you feel in person..that's the best way. Because when you do it in person for some reason it's shows exactly how in to him you are and it shows your confident. And most guys admire that about girls who aren't affraid to approach them, and then they'll do the same. And then again you may be the shy type so my next solution would be to write him a letter or call him. But I recommend you not tell him through a IM..well its just my opinion that it's kind of stupid.But hey that's just me if u want 2 go ahead. I wish u 2 the best!!

Okay, you mention that he reaches out for a hug before you do, but are either of you flirting in more overt ways? If not, that's probably a good place to start. here's a paper I found awhile back that might be helpful:
