do guys look at girls based on skin color?

my friend is an indian. she was constantly told by several women and older men that she's very pretty, beautiful, and gorgeous. but she doesn't get attention from guys as much as white girls do. i remember when we were walking with a white girl who was okay looking and had a terrible acne, a lot of guys looked at this white girl instead of my friend who is much prettier. my friend's often ignored, while white girls get attention. because of this, she has a low self-esteem. i tried to convince her that she's gorgeous, but she doesn't believe me. she feels like she's different and therefore ugly.

Depends where you live; some people are just ignorant and their opinion should not matter.
BTW, Aishwarya Rai was recently named the world's prettiest woman. Now, you may live under a rock if you haven't heard of her, but if you haven't, I'm guessing you can derive from the name that she's NOT a white girl lol
And fyi, she's *gorgeous* and she's Indian.

So tell your friend to chill out and keep her head up-she'll eventually find someone who is worthwhile. Until then, there's nothing wrong with being single. =)

Maybe its because how she wears her clothing too. Not only I think boys look at the skin color. Was the white girl wearing revealing clothing? Still its a mystery. Maybe guys do look at girls based on the skin color but also you should see where you live at. I live in a area where there are mostly white people and Im hispanic. Most guys are checking out white girls. Its annoying but yeah. There are alot of things to learn.

I actually think Indian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world. They have such a variety of complexions, beautiful silky and shiny hair, and amazing exotic features. I think a lot of people in general find exotic women to be very pretty. Its unfortunate your friend feels this way, I would encourage you to keep complementing her, hopefully try to identify with her, and let her know that a lot of people do really appreciate exotic looking women.

I'm different colored as well, thru out the years my self esteem has been braught down very low, but whenever i got a boyfriend i got back to my normal self. personally, i don't htink i should've needed a boyfriend to tell me how beautiful i am. it should come just like that. it might depend on where you are at location wise...

I will be honest....i would DEFINITELY HAVE GIVEN HER MORE ATTN THAN THE WHITE GIRL...

but that is just me..and yes..white girls and me do not EVER work..it is just the life that i have led..they are WAY too stuck up for me...and I need a girl with some color...the days of black and white tv are over right??that was the 50s? well..then it is time to be willing to love anyone..and not worry so much about color...

now..if a girl is white..I am NOT going to NOT date her...but..i'd be less inclined unless she gave me reason to feel otherwise...

now..YES..i am married NOW..but back in my singles days..I could care less what race or culture you were from..

your friend comes from a different race therefore guys around you are hesitant to approach her because of this... especially that we already have some kind of notion about the cultures and beliefs of others... but your friend must not lose confidence... she should be proud of herself... of what she is and how beautiful she is. it takes courage for the guys to ask her out... that's why nobody dares to as of this time...

I am Caucasian,(white). Before I married my wife of 28 years, (and counting), I worked construction worldwide - with my own companies, and later for others. During those wild years I dated a lot of wonderful saucy free spirited women, in a rainbow of skin colors - and I never gave a thought about it - other that how beautiful they were, in part - because of the beauty of their skin, hair, facial features, shapeliness, -personality, sense of humor and adventure, and willingness to LIVE life, and embrace serendipity.

In my opinion - every beautiful woman is attractive not because she was born with a pretty face and a comely figure, - she has to KNOW that she is pretty and embrace it - not in a snobbish, narcissistic, way ; but with a confident self awareness that alows her to enjoy and cultivate her sexuality and use it to enhance her over all self. In other words - if ya got it - flaunt it. Not in a cheap sluttish manner, but a woman can be full-on sexy, and classy, intelligent, fun, articulate, irresistable, feminine, self aware and self confident that she can be with a man and make him feel like a king, and make all those around him wish they were in his shoes.

She can be flirtatious and toss around double entendrees and coy suggestive taunts and jabs with the best of 'em, but in a fun, - no harm\no fault way - not meant to wound or embarass her suitors.

She knows how to dress to attract attention and show off her figure, - with out looking like a street walker. She is bubbly and vivacious, not brassy, lewd and crude. She is witty and funny, she doesn't swear like a sailor, or gesture like one.

So how do we help your Native American Friend? First off - she needs to help herself - she needs to be more out going, and make more of a statement about herself. What does that mean?

1. Start dressing with a little more sex appeal, - got good figure? Show it off! Tight jeans, halter top - no bra that's a start. Or short shorts & cotton blouse leave unbuttoned, & tie bottom up to expose that flat tummy, and great cleavage.

2. Wear some jewlery, a little bling to set her off. Some bangle braclets, a few rings, some great earings, - I'd leave off any piercings or tats.

3. She needs to find her own signature scent. Something light & slightly flowery - this can also be the ice breaker with the boys. Find 3 different scents you like, then find a cute boy you think you like and ask him for help. "What kind of help?" he asks. You tell him you are trying to find a signature scent - a perfume that is "you", and you think you have it narrowed down to 3 perfumes, and you think he's a hottie, (blush), and you would value his opinion, and pay him for his time. he says "Hey I'll help - but you don't have to pay me". But you say "Oh please let me reward you!"

"Here's the first one - and you spary it on you tummy - low on your tummy - explaining that you want to try to spread the scents out as much as possible - so one doesn't compete with the other" Ohhhhhh La La. He sniffs & smiles. "Now don't tell me - yet - let's try all three first!".

"Next" And you spritz, your neck just below and behind your ear, (so you can lean into him when he goes to inhale the scent). "OK? Got it? Alright - now for # 3.

You sprintz between your breasts, and when he leans in you gently take his head and hold it there for a few seconds.

When he straightens up again, ask him if he needs to smell # 1or # 2 or # 3 again, - you think he may need to do so several time at each location just to be sure. While this is goinmg on, you smile & laugh a little, touching him, and telling him how much you appreciate it, and what a good sport he is for helping you out. Hopefully he he neeeds to smell each scent several times, - which can give you the opportunity to rub you body against yourbody against his nose & giggle a little each time.

When he finally makes his choice, you thank him and say "Now for that reward, and before he knows what hit him, you gently hold his face and plant a big slow kiss on his lips - and see if he pulls away or reciprocates. If he kisses back, - you say "Wow", and ask him if he'd like to try the perfume he picked on some other places - and take it from there. Good luck little sister.

nope i do not look at skin colour --- there are many truly fabulous ladies of all skin tones why limit yourself --- tell her to ignore the idiots --- she must recognise that she is beautiful --- if she does not think so how can anyone else ---- best wishes
