Well God is all-powerful right? And all knowing? Well if he were all knowing then 1/3 of the angels would have never rebelled, that's a fact, because if he were all powerful he would just make them all vanish, or better yet! Since he is also all loving he would have just changed their minds into believing what he wanted instead of creating a pit that he knew (because he's all knowing) most people would spend eternity in, burning over and over again. The flood was also pointless; he killed all the plants, animals, and people for what? The humans weren't acting right? What a control freak! And he unnecessarily killed all those other animals, plants, and people. He is ALL-POWERFUL; he could have just magically changed their minds, like he magically sent the water to kill every living thing except for a boat full of people that would then incest us to our current population.

Lady_ You make no sense...If God KNEW the angels would rebel why didn't he stop them? Why did he have to create hell when he could have just made them vanish? You religious fanatics always work around the easy questions and avoid the ones that disprove your God, or make your God look like a dumb @$$

God caused the flood to get his rocks off.

Seriouly, everything in the Bible is bogus. None of it has been proven and never will be.

The angels rebelled because he did not give them all of his attributes. I am borrowing from B'Hai here, but it's a good thought: Every part of creation has an attribute or aspect of God in it. Only man has all the attributes rolled into one. Lucifer and the rest of the angels are missing something that Man has, and when they were forced to bow down, they rebelled instead, thinking themselves more powerful than man.

If God wanted a mindless slave who would worship his every whim without question, he would have stopped when he created dogs.

The flood story is the recounting of a racial memory. Every culture that can trace it's roots back to mythology has a flood story. There is plenty of Geological evidence that sea levels were more than 250 feet lower near the end of the last Ice Age than they are now. Even today, a majority of the world's population centers are close to the sea. The sea provides easy, plentiful food and a quick trade route. If you accept a relatively quick, runaway warming scenario, a sudden cataclysmic rise in sea level would easily destroy a nascent civilization, leaving behind only legends told by the hillbillys of days gone past. Generations later the children start asking how the animals survived the flood that destroyed human civilization, and the story of the ark is born.

God made us definitely knowing what we would do, but if you, he , also knew that we and the angels could choose NOT to do those things wouldn't you at least try? Also he is all power full and all knowing, so when he made us he never intended to make or force anyone to do anything! He always made anything sentient or close to it with freewill, the free will to do what we should do or not. He is also a loving father, so when his son and children, 1/3 of the angels, he let them go...he never told his son that he didn't love him, but after what he did he could not allow him to stay in heaven. ALSO by knowing everything he knows that you can and could make the right choice and who would want to be alone with nothing forever? would you? And he killed all hose people because he could see into their hearts and knew that they wanted nothing to do with him, he made it his personal law to not tamper with our free will, so he simply killed off those humans. ALLLLLSO by letting all of those nay Sayers burn for all of who knows will add just a little bit of justice to this existence.

Because God did not want robots. He wanted things that have a choice. Those choices also had to matter because if they did not matter it wold not be a real choice. It is an expression of his perfect love that allows those things to happen. So you have to have all of God's characteristics in balance to even begin to have a grasp of God. You are placing god in a box that he is not bound by except in your mind. There is no love without choice and God allows his creations to make their choice even if it might hurt them and even when it does hrt God.

He is God He does what HE wants to do. Plus alot of stuff that happened happened to redeem man of sins. If everyone did everything right, there wouldn't have been any need for Jesus to come to Earth to die on the cross. That is the plan.

Again, we try to box God into our human understanding.

Omniscience does NOT equate predestination.

Omnipotent does NOT negate free will, which is extended even to angels

All loving cannot live with puppets who say "I love you" because they were programmed to. It thrives on being CHOSEN as the object of love.

So....using your theory, humans should NEVER have children because we KNOW that they will in some way be hurt in this life. Perhaps even raped, tortured, or killed....

Better not to have children then, right?
