I joined track about a month ago and sometimes different parts of my body get sore. They don't get sore right after running, but afterwards when I go home. Last night the area around my left knee was very sore, is there a special stretch or something I should do to relieve this

You can try using a combination of heat and ice to help ease the pain. I would recommend letting your mom and dad know what's going on so that they can help you keep an eye on the situation and also let your doctor know when you have your next check up.
