I'm a 16 year old girl and am so self-contious (sp?) I'm really shy because I'm afraid of what people might think of me. Lately I've been trying to lose weight and stuff. I'm 5'3 105 lbs. Does God care about how I look? And would he think it's bad to be losing weight and stuff?

God cares about you like a perfect loving Father would care about you. He made you and if you have Christ in you then He looks upon you as a dear daughter. He wouldn't want you to worry so much about how you look on the outside as much as He would be concerned about what type of person you were growing to be on the inside.

You are a silly girl. The Bible says God doesn't care for physical appearances. And 105 lbs for your height isn't heavy- it's ok. Don't try to lose any more weight.

5'3" and 105 is already on the edge of too small. Worry less about making others happy; learn to make yourself happy, regardless of the opinions of others

God cares about how you look in that He made you that way. He cares that you respect the body that He gave you, and treat it as the temple that it was meant to be. In short, you should take care of yourself, be the weight that is healthiest for you (regardless of how you may look at that weight), and don't let anyone else's opinion of how you look get under your skin.

God sees you as perfect, because when he sees you..he sees Jesus.
He sees you out of a heart of love and acceptance..he would love you at 105 or 305 it makes no difference.
What people think doesn't really matter. You can never please them anyway.
