Depends on what is wrong with it. The injectors can be replaced or resealed with a new O-ring.

OK, I have personally pulled a basket full of Dodge truck injectors and have had to replace maybe 2% of them. First they hardley ever wear out and are very tough. What usually happens to them is the screen in the top where they fasten to the fuel rail gets stopped up with trash and rust from a bad fuel filter in the fuel tank on the end of the pump. Take off all the accesories that hold the throttle and trans. cables on and anything else in the way.Disconnect he electrical plugins to the injectors. Blow air around the intake manifold to get the dirt out from around where the injectors go into the manifold. unbolt the fuel rail and pry the injectors out.Keep up with the o rings. Take the injectors out of the fuel rail.Look in the ends that hook to the rail. See if any are packed full of rust or dirt. If they are, Get a arisol spray from the parts store (Berryman or something simular) Using the wand that comes with it ,stick the wand in to the injector at the end pluged up and spray untill you get the trash all out. You can then see the very fine mesh filter down in side the injector. This is what stopped the trash from going inside and ruining the injector. You will find that the injector most, if not only plugged, are the ones at the back of the motor. Thats because they are lower than the others and the trash flows down hill and stops them up first. Now put it all back together. Oil the o rings so they will go back in the rail and manifold with out cutting.

These are unit replacement items.
We run injector cleaner through ours. Once a mechanic told us we needed new injectors for our car. But my husband decided to do the job (we did not have the 500 dollars the shop wanted). He tried to get the injectors and the place he was trying to order them through told them that they had never had to install injectors in our type car. He took that shops advice and installed new plug wires and used some systems cleaner (slick 50 I think).
Runs like a top still 5 years later and still no new injectors.
But we drive a Mazda, maybe Dodge doesn't use as good injectors. Bur I think they do.

Should be a Seimens 53030262 or 53030778 , These injectors are so common that you could get a better price replacing it than having it cleaned. check out this web site, www.fuelinjector.citymaker.com they sell these for 22.99each.

to remove them, gain access (if you need the rear ones off you'll have to pull the inside hood). remove the bolts from the fuel rail to the intake, pop the rail up, remove injectors. you can't repair them. you can replace them, or send them to a facility that tests and rebuilds them.
